“Another amazing dinner at our favorite restaurant in the heart of New Westminster. Right from the moment I called and made a reservation to celebrate our friends for 31 years Birthday ( Sheryl and Terry share the same day..September 14. )...I felt very welcomed...like family. We had a prime seat reserved with a spectacular view of the Mighty Fraser River. Our special celebration was made even more special as our server Simone was extremely attentive and offering exceptional service. We all had separate options as our main meals and each of us was extremely satisfied with the portion sizes and the presentation . As we are all long time residents of The Royal City...we strive to support local businesses and this family restaurant is often our first choice. “I've been to Massawa three times now, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are always incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Their steak sandwich is especially outstanding—definitely one of my favorites and something I keep coming back for. I do like to come again and indeed would recommend it. Especially they're serving halal meat.“

“More a 'go if you're in the area' rather than a favorite donair spot for me. Service is friendly. Regular platter portions is sparse, recommend paying for extra chicken to get a decent amount.

Flavor is good, has tabouli salad which is unique for donair places. Donair with decent portions is getting more expensive.“

“My partner and I tried Sfinaki earlier this week and loved it! Goli was our server and she was absolutely lovely. We tried the grilled calamari, grilled prawns (that butter sauce is to die for my goodness), lamb shoulder dish, Greek salad with a chicken skewer and of course pita which was so soft and warm. Perfect to dip in the butter sauce (thanks Goli for the tip)! Also, I love tzatziki and theirs was perfect.
