“This is not your normal restaurant. This is more like a casual hangout cafe. Walked in to order because I couldn't find a menu online. 0rdered the platter for one and sausage, it was more than enough for 2 people. Platter comes with lots of different favorful meats served with rice and grilled veggies. Try it! Call ahead to pickup!“

“I tried the turkish cuisine for the first time and it was awesome. Their Lavash bread - similar to naan with garlic sauce was freshly baked. Chicken portion with rice and salads are tasty, reasonable and filling.

But do not expect any sort of customer service as they are not friendly and helpful.

They will just take the order from you and will bring the food to you.“

“Abdul’s bbq is one of the greatest shawarma shops in Burnaby. Not only are the portion sizes more than generous, the food is fantastic. The falafel plate is a must try- best falafel out there and the pita with garlic and hot sauce is to die for. Service is impeccable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back regularly !!“

We come here because we are originally from the Levant and Armenian food is very common there.

We get lamajun from here, which is the best in the city (and honestly some of the best we have ever had anywhere), the zaatar manaeesh also, the sujuk and basterma is top quality as well, and the lavash bread is perfection.

We have yet to try a lot of the other foods but I'm absolutely certain they will be the best.

We also buy some of the goods sold here such as the jams, that are imported from Armenia but remind us of our original homes <3

This is the place which has been in operation for several years now helping many office workers in the tower and many people in and around the area. The portions come with choice of meats and two vegetable items totally complimentary! For the carb, they serve hot rice with a surprising addition of a fried papad at no charge. This has been my ‘go to’ place for my lunch everyday for many years so long I was working in the tower office and now having retired visit this place without fail whenever I happened to visit downtown Vancouver. The first time I came here, the food ruined it for me getting lamb from anywhere else. It is not the same any more when I go back to Saskatchewan, it is not that good anywhere else.

I always order the Roast Lamb. My husband always has the Lamb Shank. There is a lot of food there and if you add on an appetizer and / or dessert... I have a hard time walking out the door.

The service is always good. Somehow we always have a choice of rooms to sit in and we usually pick that back room where it is usually the cooler of them all during a heat wave in BC.“
