“Sorry no photos too delicious to not start eating right away. They have appetizers the fries were a little stale by the time but everything else was fresh. Crispy chips, soy noodles, and Chinese side dishes. The grill is charcoal and it just adds that depth of flavor the meat selection is great. Went for the deluxe set and boy was it good. Lots options. Try the premium beef belly and the selection of porks. Oh free unlimited Ice cream in the end. I went here before on my birthday and had a group of 20. They can accommodate but make to call to reserve.

Sercice was also top notch. We had Alvin today and the guy is on top of it. Super nice too. Good recommendation.

“Very quaint and cozy atmosphere. Service is attentive and on the ball. Grill is changed without having to request it and they notice when the heat is too high or too low.

The beef tongue and beef finger meat were generous portions. The scallop roll was very fresh and there was lots of wasabi given.
You can request the beef tongue to be sliced thin if you please. There is aburi engawa on the menu and it was definitely a melt in your mouth texture.

Enjoyed the decor and seating. Good for a late night spot.

“I thought i had already written a review of this place but I haven't! I don't go anywhere else for my Korean food in BC. I literally haven't found a place that matches my palate as much as this place. Not just that, they are not stingy with their food! If you want seafood tofu soup, you GET seafood tofu soup. It's jam packed with goodies in the soup. Their seafood pancake is 🤤 not just a whole bunch of green onion and flour but an actual SEAFOOD pancake. And the servers, omg, they are fantastic. Every single one of them. They don't pressure you and just really let you enjoy your company. And our guy, I'm sorry I don't know your name! But you are always so delightful, happy and warm. You definitely make the experience better.“

“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

“Great place for BBQ skewers! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the 宫后夹肉 was definitely the highlight—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The special grilled oysters with garlic were also amazing and a great value.

On top of the great food, the staff were very kind and even gave our child a toy, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“It has exactly what need for your Chinese meats by the pound or poultry by the whole or half bird. We went with roast pork, BBQ pork and soy sauce chicken. Everything was wonderful. Roast pork was well seasoned, moist with nice crispy skin..Bbq pork had great flavor and was very moist. Soya chicken was tender and moist with ginger scallion mix on the side and extra sauce. Took it home and enjoyed over steamed rice with gai lan and oyster sauce with spicy chili.. perfect meal.“

“If you’re a fan of Korean-style BBQ, love meat, and have a big appetite, this place is definitely worth checking out! I came here for the AYCE dinner and really enjoyed the fresh meat selection.

There weren’t too many veggie options, though. For the seafood, I’d stick with the shrimp and scallops. Unfortunately, some of the other seafood items I tried had sand in them, so I wouldn’t recommend those.

The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with fun music and enthusiastic staff. It was still pretty busy when I left around 9 p.m. Overall, a fun spot if you’re mainly here for the BBQ and meat!“

Finally got to try this popular roast meat place that always has a line! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long — about 10 minutes. Watching the chef skillfully slice the meat was impressive. I bought the honey-glazed BBQ pork and the honey pork jowl. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but if you love a rich honey flavor, you have to try the pork jowl — it’s absolutely delicious! 😋“

Came with friends who have been here many times. They like the portion sizes in this HK style restaurant but find it can get noisy when full of patrons…and it did.

There are live seafood tanks: crab & lobster….and we did see lobster going out to tables.

They offer a hot HK style tea with entrees which we declined, they offered a can of pop instead…also declined.

We ordered:
Won Ton w/brisket & noodle $18
Honey Garlic Spareribs $25.95
Stir Fried String Beans w/minced pork $25.95
Beef Chow Fun $25.95

Prices are a little high for some items but portions were good. Service was great and as we were pretty much the only customers at first, our order arrived quickly.
I was happy to have the crispy HG Spareribs which I hadn’t had cooked like this in a long time.
We left with leftovers.

Not a terribly huge space with 4-6 top square and round tables plus a few booths that accommodate up to 6.

Located in a small strip mall with limited parking.

“The lunch special at SURA Korean BBQ is an amazing value. The portions are generous, everything was fresh and flavorful, and the side dishes were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. Definitely one of the best Korean lunch specials. I’ll be back!“

“I have seen this food truck for a while and finally caught it when it's opened. Seeing not a lot of people I was wondering would it be good, but I was blown away.The skewers are cheaper than outside and just tasted so amazing. Seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection. Eating outside with the setting sun definitely sets a good mood to enjoy the food.Definitely need to try the lamb kidney, chicken knee, chicken soft bone and meat, beef tongue, and must order the Naan, it is more Northern Chinese Naan bread, and it is so soft and pillowy, we ate both of them so quickly.A must try in richmond.“

“First time trying this place and none of us left disappointed. We went with the Diamond Menu and loved that they offer a birthday perk - the birthday person dines free with three other adults.

Service was fast, and all the dishes arrived as ordered. The lobster and ice cream were included in the menu, though both were limited to one serving per person.

The food was enjoyable overall, but the flavours were quite intense - we were all very thirsty afterwards.

“Tried this highly rated Seafood place tonight. Ordered the Spicy Stir Fried Manila Clams and the Seafood Fried Rice. The Clams were fat and juicy, and a lot of them, the sauce was great. the Seafood Fried Rice was OK, lacking a little flavour so I put the sauce from the clams on the rice. All in all, pretty good, one of the coolest Chinese restaurants I’ve been to.“

“We were looking for a late-night snack on a Saturday and were happy to find this place open until 1:00 AM. We arrived around 11:00 PM and were surprised that we were the only customers at first—I even wondered if they were about to close! Fortunately, a few more tables came in shortly after.

The food was good, especially if you’re craving grilled skewers. As expected, skewers aren’t the cheapest option, and the bill came to about $80 for two people, but the quality was solid and everything tasted fresh. It’s definitely a convenient late-night spot when most other places are already closed.“

“I've come here and done two pick ups and have generally been satisfied with their food. Keep in mind I've ordered nothing but the BBQ duck and BBQ pork on rice combination. The portions were generous enough and they gave a small portion of gai lan too; not all restaurants will give you some vegetables with this kind of meal. Both meats were tasty and the duck pieces were meaty; I've found that it could be hit or miss with BBQ duck, sometimes you get meaty pieces and other times you might get pieces that are mostly just skin and bones or fat. What happened to me during my last pick up visit left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Upon paying for my order I hadn't noticed that the employee had automatically entered a 20% tip onto the price of my order. I did an interac payment. So instead of it being $20, I was billed $24 without my permission. It was very busy that night so I hadn't checked my bill until later back at home. I thought that this was a rotten move on the part of that employee. Just wanted to give others a heads up about this practice and that it could happen to others. Be cognizant of this when you do pick up ordering. I'm subtracting a star from this restaurant because of this sneaky practice.“
