“Good restaurant with fresh food and good service“

“The meats where Primo! But that brisket took it all the smoked beans pretty nice even better because they got some meat in there aswell! The ribs where alright a bit dry, but that brisket though! Now that's what I'm talking about! And this is the reason I'm giving them 5 stars! The BBQ sauce used was a tad bit sweet but still nice! One thing though you guys needs add some meat dipping sauces different kinds BBQ sauces and a smoked mustard! But solid food and will be ordering again!“

“I got the Kimchi cheese fried rice and the appetizer japchae which were both delicious and very well priced. This is the cheapest Korean place I’ve been to in Richmond, and I’ll definitely be coming back. I do wish they had complimentary side dishes like most Korean places have, but this place is still very worth the visit even without!“

“Went here earlier this month from a friend's recommendation that it was better than HK BBQ Master food. There is a line-up always for this place which means that their food should be decent. The store is a typical chinese BBQ place.

Tried the BBQ pork and the roast pork. Even when we asked for 1/2 fat 1/2 slim for the BBQ pork, we got mostly slim which was ok but not the best. However the roast pork was delicious ... the skin was crispy, the balance between fat and meat was perfect. Tip: eat it hot as it is the best.“

“I have always thought that the pimple soup at this restaurant is the best in Richmond. I haven’t been here for a long time. I feel that the chef who makes the pimple soup has changed. The taste is a little sweeter than before, the tomato concentration is a little lighter, and the size of the pimple soup is basically maintained. Of course it tastes good now. Also recommended is toasted bread.“

“I ordered the clams with glass noodles, the clams were smelly so I just ate one. Then I had a diarrhea for a whole day on the next day, and this is my first and only meal in a day so I am pretty sure that is a reason.

But I love the small bowl of some spicy items, dumpline with soup was sooo nice as well. Skewers were delicious and cheese osyter were amazing. I will go there again and I honestly hope the owner take more care on the food hygiene...“

“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

The barbecued pork will be grilled evenly, and the lean barbecued pork will not dry out and turn into meaty residue at the back (this happens in Guangdong barbecue)The roasted pork/roasted pork belly has crispy skin, with distinct layers of meat and fat, one inch each, and a total of about 4 inches long. The chef is very skilled.It’s my first time to buy a double combo. My overall rating is 9/10. The texture of the roasted pork is on par with Ming’s, but the care in preparing the barbecued pork and the special aroma are unique. I will definitely repurchase.“
