“Had a really delicious dinner at Toedam! We ordered the King Set ($108) for the family, and we finished everything — the meat was flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned. We also ordered a spicy cold noodle, which was tasty overall, although I found it had a little too little broth.
One tip if you’re ordering for BBQ: I personally wouldn’t recommend the beef short plate here. Since it’s sliced quite thinly, it cooks very quickly and can become dry if you’re not careful. I’d definitely go for thicker cuts for grilling.

“Vesta Grill feels like one of those local Korean hangouts where the food does the talking. When we visited, the place was mostly filled with Korean patrons, always a promising sign when you’re looking for Korean food that locals actually enjoy.

• Salad - Light and refreshing, a nice way to kick things off.
• Seafood & Egg Soup - Tasty and comforting, with a good variety of seafood. Lots of flavour without feeling too heavy.
• Shrimp & Chive Pancake - Crispy, savoury and packed with flavour. The edges had that satisfying crunch while the inside stayed nicely tender. Definitely a favourite from the meal.
• Five Spice Pork Trotters (Jokbal) - Chewy, tender and with that aromatic five-spice flavour. But the real magic happens when you pair it with the sides: garlic, peppers, ssamjang, saeujeot, musaengchae and cabbage salad. The combination of salty, spicy, tangy and crunchy flavours makes the jokbal so much more enjoyable.

This is definitely more local Korean comfort food hangout than polished Korean dining experience. With mostly Korean patrons when we were there, Vesta Grill felt like a neighbourhood spot where people come to eat, drink and hang out.

“I enjoy bao buns and the angry chicken bao is phenomenal. I would recommend trying this place as it is tucked in a corner, but the korean fried chicken is very good and the bao is great. The bao bun is soft and fluffy and the sauce on the chicken has a nice flavour. It is mostly a takeout place, meaning it is grab and go, but the staff has always been very nice.“

“We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.

“We've visited this place multiple times as a family and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious and the overall dining experience keeps us coming back. Most of the staff are warm and attentive. A couple of servers were a bit reserved, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. The only minor inconvenience is parking - it can get quite tight depending on the time you visit, so plan accordingly.“
