Atmosphere is great. Comfortable and not smoky or u feel I have to change cloths right afterward
They do have a locker for guest to use to store your stuff which is great.
High end decoration with few table serving 4-6 guests, a semi private partitioned table for somen privacy if needed
We sit at the U shaped bar table where each guest have their own bbq set. Pretty good and clean.
Staff a very nice and helpful and explain each steps needed and even help u cook if needed

We are here on a week day dinner and not busy. Heard they are always full in weekend so plan ahead

One thing is they told us that after 8pm each night it’s happy hour where the food have special pricing discount like 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free, even for drinks.

Food are top quality beef and no don’t they are best meet from Japan

We ordered the biggest plate for sharing and it’s pretty enough for us. For some heavy eater, I guess can order a plate for 2 people and order other side dishes

I literally haven't found a place that matches my palate as much as this place. Not just that, they are not stingy with their food! If you want seafood tofu soup, you GET seafood tofu soup. It's jam packed with goodies in the soup. Their seafood pancake is 🤤 not just a whole bunch of green onion and flour but an actual SEAFOOD pancake. And the servers, omg, they are fantastic. Every single one of them. They don't pressure you and just really let you enjoy your company. And our guy, I'm sorry I don't know your name! But you are always so delightful, happy and warm. The soy chicken and snowy chicken were both delicious and full of flavor. The original fried chicken was a bit bland for my personal taste, but it was still cooked well.

What impressed me most was how crispy the chicken stayed. Even after the 10-minute drive home, the fried chicken was still crunchy and juicy, which isn't always easy to achieve with takeout.

“Oolala Chicken is way better when you dine in rather than getting takeout or delivery.

I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.

Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.
Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.“

“Wasn’t too busy when we went. The food was good with lots of different options for the ayce. We got cotton candy at the end of the meal but the cotton candy machine was a bit faulty. The staff were so helpful with the machine repair so that we could enjoy it in the end. A really good more price friendly ayce hot pot option in the Metrotown area“

“A great K-BBQ option that won’t take a bite out of your wallet. A branch of the OG Chosun Kalbi (near Boundary and Kingsway) so you know the formula has stood the test of time. There wasn’t an overly wide assortment of side dishes but the ones they did provide were very good. I would best categorize it as a go-to BBQ that doesn’t charge a premium for being K-trendy. “Really satisfying late night BBQ spot. We ordered a mix of skewers, plus a few dishes. Everything was pretty good. The lamb skewers were juicy, well seasoned, and had that proper charcoal grilled flavor without being overly salty.
The fried rice was really good too, very smoky and flavorful with generous portions of meat throughout. We also tried the spicy hot tripe, which had a lot of flavor without tasting overly oily.
The atmosphere felt lively and casual, exactly the kind of place you want for late night food with friends. Definitely a place I’d come back to when craving skewers and BBQ food.“

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We went on a Sunday night and expected a wait, it was about 45 minutes but absolutely worth it. We ordered the Chef’s BBQ Combo D, and it was more than enough for all of us to leave completely full. They continuously refilled our sides and sauces, so we were never without anything. Everything felt clean, organized, and really well run.

My personal favourites were the marinated beef short rib, the fresh salad, bean paste soup, scallion salad, and the cheesy corn — all so flavourful and perfectly done.

This is hands down one of the best spots to come with your partner or a group, where you can relax, cook together, and actually enjoy the experience as much as the food. We’ll 100% be coming back. 🔥🥩“

“We ordered take out twice and dined in this past month. All of our experiences with this restaurant have been positive. Service was fantastic. Greeted warmly and given our choice of seating. Food was ready in a timely manner and very tasty. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich - small size - and the portions were generous. The baked beans were smoky and delicious. The potato salad was also tasty. My beef was tender and the BBQ sauce was so good we bought bottles to take home. The staff was also flexible in amending my order which I greatly appreciated. It is located downtown squamish in a good sized space with lots of light. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. Finally got to try this popular roast meat place that always has a line! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long — about 10 minutes. Watching the chef skillfully slice the meat was impressive. I bought the honey-glazed BBQ pork and the honey pork jowl. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but if you love a rich honey flavor, you have to try the pork jowl — it’s absolutely delicious! 😋“

I can heartily recommend the food here.
The bill for all 12 of us was a bit over 400.00. Remember, we had lobster, prawns and crab 🦀 as well.“
