Been here many times, it was one of the better Malaysian restaurants a few years ago, now the quality is only comparable to food court quality.
When I was here in March, we ordered five dishes. Everything were served within five minutes. Immediately you know the food was pre-cooked and dipped in sauce in order. As you would’ve guessed, all the dishes are luke-warm and the temp is 10 degrees too cold. The taste was just sauce overpowering the food.

Based on the reviews, John 3:16 Malaysian Delights is a great place with delicious food and great service. The restaurant is a very neat place with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The food is authentic, and many dishes are mentioned as must-tries. The kari laksa is the best from any Malaysian restaurant, and the roti canai, satay, nasi lemak, and mee goreng are all flavourful with big portions. The beef rendang has incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth soft beef, and the ginger garlic fish and noodles are amazing. The chicken rice has spot-on, fragrant flavors. The service is superior, with gold standard in food and table service, and is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Prices are exceptional, like pre-pandemic prices. The food arrives fast, hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The deep fried durian balls are tasty for durian fans. This place deserves all the success a restaurant can get.
