“Food has always been good but I think they are taking shrinkflation a bit extreme. Cookie used to go out to the edge of the wrapper. Only 7 pieces of popcorn chicken now and I can say the fries it not any better. The double stacker is still good and big those and very fresh hot!“
“The smell of kfc hits you as soon as you open the door a crack. The fragrance of herbs and spices and hot oil must be one of the more recognizable smells in North America. The food is consistant, hot and brown. The deals are always worth it. Gravy is a must with everything. The service is friendly, fast and efficient.“
“=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE We usually prefer Church's for fried chicken, but when in Rome (ahem, Lansdowne Centre) with a little one, KFC was the choice of the day and contrary to my fellow Yelpers - the experience turned out well enough - worthy of a return visit in the future! === 2. FOOD Kid's Meal - Popcorn Chicken ($3.99): it comes with a small portion of popcorn chicken and small fries. The chicken is lightly-battered and fairly tasty - great for small tummies! Chicken Thigh ($2.99): guilty pleasure - had to try the chicken for the first time in many years and it's different than the US counterpart: the batter is much thinner and less salty/peppery - I might still put it second to Church's and Popeyes, but it's still fantastic and maybe better than LA Chicken! === 3. SERVICE Despite the line-up, we got great, patient service, especially with all of my questions about what would work for a three-year-old! === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's a food stall in a food court, so it's a takeout service only, but the food court is open and bright - spacious enough for groups of any size, including wheelchairs and baby strollers. It's never an issue finding parking in the expansive Lansdowne Centre parking lot.“
