“??One dish of Hainanese chicken rice: the meat is tender and the skin is smooth, but there is no chicken flavor. The green onion and ginger paste have a heavy onion flavor and a light ginger flavor. I prefer the strong ginger flavor. The garlic flavor is stronger when dipped in water, which is not my thing, but The chicken oil rice is salty enough and is quite suitable. The soup should be peppered pork belly. It has a strong peppery flavor and I like it very much. Comprehensive cost-effective recommendation“
“We are from Wuhan. For 30 years, we have been looking for hot and dry noodles everywhere. We found Canada from the United States, and we have eaten a lot of hot and dry noodles, but there are only a few very authentic ones, and this one is one of them! I asked the boss, the main seasonings of his hot dry noodles are all from China, so the taste is really different, very authentic. The noodle nest is also very good, very loose and crisp. Folks who want to eat authentic Wuhan hot and dry noodles can really go to "Nine Dollars and Nine" to satisfy their cravings!“
“Staff are greatParking: Part of the mall so there is free parking on 4 floors for 3 hoursKid-friendliness: Easily accessible with an arcade in the food court as well as a children's play area where you can pay to leave your kidWheelchair accessibility: This is located inside the food court and is accessible by elevator“
“Food court dim sum at very affordable prices. Their steamed rice wrap was very good, large and full of "liu", tasty bits of meat and mushrooms to compliment the sticky rice. January 2024: The combo with sticky rice wrap, 3 dumplings, spring roll and fried sweet dessert. was $11.50 and you can do a sweet item add-on (in our case we got the Mango Tapioca smoothie) for $2 instead of $5-$6.Decent dim sum for the lower price point so they get the 5 stars for that.“
“CRISPY! CRISPY! CRISPY!Definitely one of the best (if not the best) places in Richmond for clay pot rice. Crispy rice at the bottom of the pot. The way it should be.The Free Range Chicken with Mushroom was soooo good. It took 20mins for them to make it. But it was well worth the wait. All the items were in English. Unlike some of the other food courts in Richmond, where they’re all in Chinese. Makes ordering so much easier. Will be back to try their other dishes.,“
“Listen, I really don’t want a restaurant that puts so much effort into its dishes to go unnoticed. This is a sincere establishment where the food is both affordable and delicious. The flavors are very much reminiscent of traditional Taiwanese home cooking.“
“Great value and great tasting food. For less than 15 bucks you can choose any three items dished out to you in heaping portions on top of your choice of a mountain of fried rice or fried noodles. Enough to feed two and it comes with a complimentary soup. They even give you extra chopsticks and a small plate to share if they know you are sharing. Highly recommend the honey garlic spareribs which tasted as good as sit in Chinese restaurants! All the items I tried were tasty.“
“Hidden in the city, the public market has been a place for decades. The environment is ideal without a modern shopping mall, but it is also clean and well-maintained by service staff. It was during the Chinese New Year, so there were not many people visiting, and the waiting time was within 10 minutes, which was very convenient.I ordered dry noodles, which are quite delicious and have enough side dishes. The price is reasonable and affordable. It’s worth coming here because of its reputation“
“For starters this is a low-quality Chinese fast food place. This is in the back but just an understanding of what you should set your expectations to be. The one thing this place has going for it is Asian breakfast. So what is Asian breakfast you ask question? Basically beef on rice with egg. A different version of your proteins and carbs. Food was average but again it is food court food. Service was very friendly and fast. Prices were more than reasonable.“
“Whenever I come to Vancouver I need to stop by Cherry to get some rice cakes. Better than the ones that I can get from Hong Kong and I love the original and black sesame flavors. This time they already have the radish and taro cakes available for Chinese New Year so I bought them. There are so many radishes and not full of rice powder. It is so tasty. The staff is always quick and provides impeccable service for a little stall in Parker Place. This is why I love going to Richmond because it is never too far away from HK.“
“This place opened 3 months ago (July/23) and someone already recommended it to me because I love lamb. The lamb noodles I had were on point, especially the broth. I drank almost all of it. And the spicy cumin lamb chop was perfect! I even went back to get more for others to try. It’s without a doubt I’ll be back to try other menu items. This place is in Aberdeen Mall, upstairs in the food court and, unlike many of the other stalls, they accept credit cards. Yeah! Also, the noodle soups come in 3 sizes.“
“The name of this humble-looking place is a bit misleading as they also make non-vegetarian dishes. I came here for a quick snack so I can't comment on their entrees. I thought I would try their pineapple bun and tea combo to stack it against my gold-standard over at Lido. Overall, I was impressed. I think the bun can hold its own. It tasted freshly baked with a nice crunchy topping and warm buttery bun underneath. The HK tea was also good and tasted freshly brewed. Worth a try if you're around!“
“CLOUD 9 DELICACY (Richmond)so this place had 4.6 stars on google! I HAD to try it!!! A hole in the wall joint with above average ratings!!!Unfortunately it does not live up to its 4.6 stars. Maybe 4.0 stars at the most!So firstly, when you arrive, they have like 50+ items on the menu. When I tried to order, they told me that today I could only order from the Chefs Special menu which had maybe 8 items on it. UGH! Thankfully the popcorn chicken on rice was on my radar...The portion was MASSIVE! Definitely a win for best value. BUT is it the best Taiwanese popcorn fried chicken? Nope. CHJ Bistro beats it in terms of quality and taste. Will I come back here again? Hmmmm maybe just to try another dish, but definitely not a place I would frequent.“
