Fei Mei Tasty Foods is a small place inside of a food court. The food is amazingly fresh and really good. The signature chicken has super tender meat and glorious skin with a great sauce. The shredded chicken is fresh and flavourful, with cilantro and green onions on top. One reviewer loved the chicken with black truffle, calling it juicy, tasty, and affordable. The spicy Sichuan flavour chicken is a favourite, though the spice is very mild for those who do not handle spice well. The chicken was given a 4/5 rating. The rice is surprisingly a 5/5, described as addictive, flavourful, and full of variety with juicy braised daikon, shrimp, sausage, and fresh green onions. It is an absolute must try rice dish. The combo for one comes with chicken, rice, and soup for $17.99. Westerners may be alarmed by the level of doneness of the chicken, but it is safe and prepared this way for centuries. The service is excellent, the price is good, and the portions are decent. Highly recommended.
