“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.“

“The fried chicken is incredibly tender and juicy. The pepper powder is from Taiwan, making it a traditional and delicious ingredient, a representative of Taiwanese cuisine. The plum powder flavor is also highly recommended; the slightly sweet plum aroma sprinkled on the hot chicken cutlet makes it irresistible. For kids, the sweet potato balls are fantastic! And the price is reasonable.“

“Parker Place food court is packed. Good luck finding an empty table! Stopped by this Taiwanese stall and went for the classics: Salt & Pepper Chicken with rice, plus the Three Cup Chicken & Braised Pork Belly combo. Solid, satisfying Taiwanese comfort food for a food court spot.“

“This place has a non-stop line of people ordering and you can tell why. Their speciality is the Taiwanese style fried chicken leg (boneless) or their Taiwanese salty fried chicken nuggets combo with rice and 3 sides they give you. Before I get into their deliciousness of the chicken, their sides are killer too. They give you a handful of veggies of the day, a thick piece of matinated tofu patty, and soya sauce marinated egg. Protein heaven already. Their chicken is so freshly deep fried, just the right amount of spices, hot, juicy and tender on the inside. Sprinkle some of their red powder on the side if you want more heat. Their portion is huge! They don't skimp out at all! I normally eat 3/4 and pack the rest home. All for $15! Bring cash as with all Richmond vendors!“

“I’ve been here a few times over the years, usually when Chuan Siang (Potelicious), which is just down the food court, is closed or on vacay. It’s not even in the same league but it’s still good. The noodles were a little over done, though other times they’ve been good, and the broth is on the sweeter side which may not be everyone’s cup of tea.“

“IMO for 8ppl eating Taiwanese Cafe for Dinner 200$ with taxes full set meals with specialty or boba drinks was very economical in comparison to other nights we had a medicore dinner at more costly price during when my brother's family came to visit, I seriously had to double check when I saw the bill as we still had leftovers.
They still have a wide menu selection, fast and frendly service, lots of drink options, and generous portions. If you’re a fan of rich, comforting soup noodles, this one place you need try as each one is served individually hot pot style.
Dont forget your Twoonies as they cash only.
Everyone found something on the menu to enjoy from age 5 to 85.
On the window they was nominated for a slot in the 2026 best Asian restaurant in Canada, but I personally think quality not same and parking is not as easy from last year in comparison.“

“A total hidden gem. The seasoning in every dish was remarkable, and the flavors really blew me away. This is easily a new favorite place! Definitely coming back! Portion size was really good, ordered a combo meal for 2 can definitely feed more than 2 people.“

“Not flashy, not trendy but reliably satisfying. Wang Ji leans into that sweet spot between Cantonese comfort and bold northern Chinese flavours.
• Stir-fried Beef with Cumin - Fragrant cumin hits first, followed by tender slices of beef. Slightly smoky, a little spicy, and aromatic. It’s the kind of dish that demands a bowl of rice.
• Stewed Seafood with Tofu - Silky tofu soaks up the seafood broth mixed with salted egg and bits of shrimp and fish cake adding sweetness and depth.
• Chinese Sausage Fried Rice - Rice infused with that prized wok hei, smoky, almost charred aroma. The Chinese sausage brings a sweet-savoury richness that cuts through the oiliness perfectly.“

“Overall, the food was great. The authentic Taiwanese minced pork rice was a highlight, absolutely loved it. The beef tendon noodles were also delicious, with tender, soft beef. Their deep fried chicken nuggets were especially impressive juicy and flavourful. However, the $9 deep fried fish cake was unexpectedly small, just a few pieces, which was quite disappointing. Service was good.”“
