Monga Chicken serves delicious, juicy, and flavourful Taiwanese fried chicken. The 10-minute wait was pretty typical, and the freshly made chicken was worth it. A great spot for fried chicken lovers!
The fried chicken cutlet was definitely the highlight. It was freshly fried, crispy on the outside, while the chicken inside stayed very tender and juicy. The meat was well-marinated, so the flavour went all the way through rather than just coming from the seasoning on the outside. I also liked that the seasoning was quite well-balanced, flavourful and savoury without being overly salty or heavy. The portion was also pretty decent.

Monga Fried Chicken serves mouth-watering chicken that exceeds expectations. The OG chicken breast is a must-try, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. Located on the 3rd floor Annex of Aberdeen Center, this hidden gem offers authentic Taiwanese-style fried chicken that is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chicken steak is pretty thick, which is different from the typical Taiwan style that is pounded to a very thin texture. Overall, it still tasted good. Don't forget to try their crispy oyster mushroom and refreshing bubble tea, all accompanied by great service. DO try the chicken skin, which is prepared like thin cuts of chips and is lighter on the stomach. The popcorn chicken is also good! However, there is an extra 2% charge for credit card payments, so it is better to be informed beforehand.
