Sushi Hachi may be the most homey intimate restaurant I've visited. Run by a lovely couple, this was a perfect date night and would be an absolute hit for fish lovers.
The nigiri is an absolute 5/5 and a must-try for any true sushi lover. Engawa was unfortunately not on the menu, so we opted for something adventurous instead: ankimo (monkfish liver), and it really delivered. Perfect richness well balanced by the sauce and radish.

Good quality food, fair priced.
During a recent business trip, I craved sushi and decided to visit Sushi Hachi because it was conveniently close to my hotel. It truly was the highlight of my trip. The husband-and-wife owners were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, which delivered an exceptional dining experience. This was easily the finest sushi I have experienced in Canada. Whether you are visiting the area for business or leisure, I highly recommend dining at Sushi Hachi.
