“Incredible food - as a Vietnamese food connoisseur I really don’t understand how this place doesn’t have 5-stars across the board.

Unfortunately we ate the food so fast we didn’t take any pictures, but we’ll for sure be back. We highly recommend the frog legs, chicken wings, short rib vermicelli, papaya salad, and shaking beef (didn’t look the best but tasted incredible).

It just melts in your mouth it’s so good!! I love the crispy sear outside. It’s full of flavour i didn’t even use the sauce. The meat speaks for itself, no need for the sauce. They do have a really good green peppercorn sauce.

Excellent portions, 8oz was enough for me. The truffle potato pave is so well made i’m at a loss for words.

Choco cake is friggin amazing. Never had anything like it. The balance from the yuzu and the depth of the choco sauce is exquisite.

Everything was perfectly cooked. Yunsu was our server, excellent service. He was very attentive and friendly. Thank you 🩵“

“We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. I had made a mistake with my reservation and the server very kindly accommodated us. The service that followed was even better. We were told happy hour was over at 6pm and we just arrived at 6pm. The service offered us the happy hour menu regardless and this also included 2 pieces of Juke fried chicken per person!! As we had dinner plans we did not have dinner there. At the end of our drinks, we were offered little shots of mandarin cocktail served in little tea cups. “Sunday brunch was excellent! The lemon ricotta souffle pancake with blueberries was delicious: airy, light and satisfying! Others at the table enjoyed the pizzas, the chicken Caesar salad and the croissant with honey and blueberries. They were very understanding about our toddler needing to toddle, too!

“Really fun bar right next to Havanna. They have a sign out front but it can still be a bit easy to miss it.
There are steps up and then down to get to the back where the bar is. It is a totally tropical vibe great for honestly all seasons. Hide from winter or keep with summer.
Their happy hour was great, we tried a couple appetizers and drinks, all was good. Prices on happy hour did NOT disappoint!

I had a fantastic evening at Barra Forty One. From the moment we sat down, Anita took such great care of us. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside out. She made perfect recommendations and checked in at just the right times without ever feeling pushy.
The drinks were outstanding – beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and some of the best I’ve had in a while. Every round was a highlight of the night.

“Fun speakeasy “hidden” behind the dumpling shop. Just ask for a number 7 x guests and they’ll let you know when your table is ready.

The drinks are creative with an Asian flair to them. The spot itself is very cool. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Drinks are a bit expensive, but you pay for the atmosphere and being in a speakeasy. They are well made though with creative serving ideas like lights, foam, etc.

Food is not the forte here as their focus is cocktails.“

The entrance might seem a bit interesting as the neighbourhood has been falling apart for a while now but don’t let that deter you to go inside. You’ll find horse racing playing on a TV with names of horses to bet on. You can o my get in if you choose the correct one ;)

Once you do, you’ll be seated inside. You’ll go through an area with pictures of old India and it’s quite refreshing to see that. You’ll be presented with a menu which is a Jungle book repurposed as a drinks menu. Lots of options but I fried the leopard 5/5. Also their chicken 65 is delicious.“
