“We stopped in for a cocktail before dinner across the street. Really fun place with a funky, eclectic vibe. Our mixologist created a 'Patricia's special' made with vodka, which was beautiful and delicious as well as a wonderful Old Fashioned.“

“Great concept, fresh food, lovely ambience, good portions. But there is one controversial factor to all the food - there’s an element of fermented/pickled/tangy in most dishes. It can start to make the experience feel repetitive. We’ve been here late summer and early spring with the same results trying both Matia and Monti.“

“We had the best meal we’ve had in a long time at Monti. We are on the island celebrating my wife’s birthday and this was the perfect meal. The pommes panisse was insane. The paparadelle was so good. The N.A. cocktails were phenomenal. Definitely worth your time and money to have this truly special dining experience.“

“Phenomenal eatery in the heart of a small city centre. The food and service here was also great. We had the Portlandia breakfast platter and the shrimp and grits. Their marionberry pie (that came in the Portlandia platter) was just 10/10 - delicately sweet and full of flavor. Special shoutout to our server Tracy, who happened to have also baked the marionberry pie.“

“My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The view from the small private porch was beautiful! I had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant twice. The bread with pork pate butter is magnificent! One night I had the Mangalitsa pork. It was very flavorful and well seasoned. The subtle, yet bold flavors of the accompaniments were delicious. The second night I had the Weathervane Scallops. They were very tasty and cooked to perfection.“
