Some of the best meals I’ve had were at Matia. The only place I’ve ever tried one bite of a dish and immediately ordered a second. (If you’re around when the tomato tart is on the menu, GET IT). The service is warm and seamless, the flavors are so unique and beautifully balanced, the attention to detail can’t be topped. Matia is a gem not only for Orcas, but for all of the San Juan’s.

If you had to eat out at one resturant while at Orcas Island (or even San Juan) make it Matia. A Big thank you to Drew and Staff for allowing us to enjoy a dinner at this hidden gem. Cozy intimate setting creates the perfect environment to enjoy food that is both aesthetically pleasing and amazing to eat. Highly recommend.
