“We visited Japadog and had a mixed experience. The wait time to place an order was quite long, and we had to line up for a while before being served.

The cleanliness inside the store also wasn’t ideal, as there were quite a few insects flying around, which made the overall experience less pleasant.

That said, the food itself was really good. The hot dogs were flavorful and well-prepared, and the poutine was also delicious and satisfying.

Overall, I would say the food is worth trying, but the service speed and in-store environment could be improved.“

“We visit the buffet quite often, found I can make reservations with 4 people as needed 6 before, that was great as we always worry a long line up. Staff are friendly as always. Food was great and selection is reasonable at this price point.“

“On my first visit, I tried Kurobuta Terimayo. Teriyaki sauce and Mayonnaise were good. Kurobuta sausage was think and crisp, so good as well. They were certainly good ingredients, and good overall given that it was a hotdog, but I felt no surprising synergy among them. I will try another toppings next time.“

“An interesting take on hot dogs with japanese flavors. The combinations are creative and tasty. However, many varieties come loaded with too much mayonnaise and heavy sauces, making them quite rich. I wish there was a lighter version available - perhaps with less mayo or more vegetable toppings for a fresher alternative.

Verdict: definitely worth trying for the experience, but could benefit from a less calorie-heavy option.“

“Absolutely love this food court - I've eaten at basically every restaurant in the food fair and they're all above-average, especially for a food court, and Broye is a welcome addition as the resident coffee shop.

The Persian place (Tops Chef Persian) isn't getting nearly enough love, so I'm going to call it out specifically. Their chicken rice bowl is soooo filling and has so much veg in it and is only $12, which is shockingly affordable for 2026. I'd fully expect to pay like $18 for it most places (and it'd still be a great deal). Strong recommend.“

“The gelato wasn’t bad, and the Toblerone flavour could be more vibrant. It felt bland, I was expecting more flavour and it didn’t deliver. The Peach Mango was good though, it was vibrant and clear. The service was great—very encouraging and helpful.

The service is what boosted it from a 3.5 to a four.“
