Lulu Island Winery Wineries • $$
16880 Westminster Hwy, Richmond

“This Winery is a cut above any Winery that I've been to in Canada, including Niagara region. A good selection of vintages, and the tasting room allows you to taste a selection of different wines. Everything is sourced locally for the charcuterie board and even the fruit wines!! My favourite was the raspberry wine, and I normally don't like fruit wines as they tend to be very sweet. Other favourites were 2019 Meritage and 2017 Muscat. This was a sitted tasting and the portions were very generous. 5* plus plus plus!!“

“Cute Winery for an Afternoon date.$5 for the Wine Tasting and you get to pick 5 different wines from their list to taste.$5 fee is waived if you purchase a bottle. We tried the following wines:-Schönburger-Viognier Unoaked-Pinot Noir-Psyrah-Reserve CabernetOur Favorites were the Schönburger and Psyrah. We bought a bottle of each! After you finish the wine tasting you can purchase by the glass or bottle and enjoy the wine on their outdoor patio. Lots of seating and they also have a number of gas fire pit tables as well. You can also bring a picnic / food with you to enjoy with the wine. Our only feedback was that we only saw a portable toilet.**Update** There are washrooms inside. “They had a large selection of items, and they were very kind to me even though I wasn't good at English.I heard that the three recommended red wines are shown in the attached image.I'm looking forward to drinking the Le vineux pin red wine I bought when I return home, as I haven't seen any reviews in Japanese.“

Divino Wine Shop Wineries • $$
1610 Robson St, Vancouver

“I don't understand the negative reviews. I scored 3 bottles of aged wine (30 years) for ~$20/bottle, and 2 out of 3 tasted great (for BC wine). The owner was upfront about what she's selling, and you should know that for that price, that age, and that vineyard's location, you're taking some risk when it comes to quality.“
