“We visited the Winery in June 2025 on our way to Sooke. The 4 sampler wines were very good; howeve, the one that really stood our was the Deep Cove Malbec Red Wine 2021. It was Excelent and tasted like "this goes with steak!" So much so, that we purchased a bottle and enjoyed it last night with our steak. I only wish we could get Deep Cove wines here in Ontario.“

“We had the privilege of meeting Rudy (new owner!) yesterday and out of the three wineries that we went to, this was our top experience by far. The staff are warm and there’s a new and positive energy about the place. We walked out with a case of wine, which for us, is unheard of. Everything is just that good. “My sister and her husband visiting from Alberta have never been wine tasting so we made an impromptu stop on our way to drop them off at their next destination. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to fit us in. The wine tasting room is beautiful with a fantastic view. The wine and charcuterie board we ordered was delicious.

They are dog friendly which was a bonus for us. Over all a good experience. Definitely worth a stop!“

Typically, it takes a long time to age Barolo wine, the pleasant and knowledgeable staff at Great Fermentations explained how Eclipse kits have a special secret process that makes it possible to have a delicious drinkable wine in a much shorter period of time.
