“We visited the Winery in June 2025 on our way to Sooke. The 4 sampler wines were very good; howeve, the one that really stood our was the Deep Cove Malbec Red Wine 2021. It was Excelent and tasted like "this goes with steak!" So much so, that we purchased a bottle and enjoyed it last night with our steak. I only wish we could get Deep Cove wines here in Ontario.“

I highly recommend this wonderful family owned business. Outdoor space is lovely with some cornhole and Jenga thrown in. So worth a quick drive from Victoria. Don’t miss some great cider!“
“Really nice winery- all of the wines in the tasting flight were wonderful. Our server was knowledgable, friendly and delightful to talk with. We sat out on the back patio under the shade umbrellas with our dog and enjoyed a margarita pizza while enjoying the view. Such a nice afternoon.“
“Amazing experience at Great Fermentations. Their Winexpert Eclipse Barolo was truly one of the very best kit wines I have ever made or ever tasted for that matter. I will not only order another Eclipse Barolo wine kit, but I am very motivated to try the rest of the Eclipse line. Typically, it takes a long time to age Barolo wine, the pleasant and knowledgeable staff at Great Fermentations explained how Eclipse kits have a special secret process that makes it possible to have a delicious drinkable wine in a much shorter period of time. Looking forward to my next batch!“

“Attended an event at the winery recently. It was our first time here, and we really liked the ambience and decor of the tasting room. We had finger food catered for the event, and tried several wines. The Pinot Noir was my favourite, and I took a couple of bottles home. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making for a very enjoyable afternoon.“
