4 Best Wineries in Victoria

Starling Lane Vineyard Wineries •
5271 Old West Saanich Rd, Victoria

“We just got married at this venue, and it was truly stunning! There’s a real warmth and charm to Starling Lane that cannot be found at other venues. There are options to host events rain or shine. We had a bit of rain and our guests loved that there were big trees on the property to keep them dry as well as the barn and greenhouse. We would highly recommend booking this location for weddings or other special gatherings. Simply perfect!“

The Wine Maker Wineries •
254 Island Hwy, Victoria

“As a person who grew up with European wines, it has been difficult to find what I like since moving to Canada. I have been very satisfied with the quality of the wine at The Wine Maker and can easily compare them to the quality wines I am familiar with in Europe. I am very pleased with our selection and would recommend The Wine Maker.“

The Thirsty Vintner Wineries •
5-4071 Shelbourne St, Victoria

“I have been getting wine from Thirsty Vintner now for about 8-10 years. This business, its owners and the products are all outstanding and I highly recommend them. I have lost count of the number of times Marty has made great recommendations to me on wines. I have gotten to know owner Marty in particular over the years, along with some of the staff, and the experience is always a pleasure. The service, reliability and quality are second to none and I hope they stay in business many more years! Thank you Marty and Michael and all the very best in 2024 and beyond. K.“

Church & State Wines - Victoria Wineries • $$
1445 Benvenuto Ave, Victoria

“Our visit started off wonderfully, we had booked online a few hours beforehand and had a reservation at 4pm, the staff were great and the server was very knowledgeable but we went to order mains and were not advised that the kitchen had already done their last call for the day, so we had gone somewhere else to eat dinner afterwards. Towards the end of our experience we had a problem with a swarm of wasps, to our surprise, our server used a ramekin with our food in it, smushed the wasp on the charcuterie board and grabbed a piece of the meat on the plate to scoop up the dead wasp. A tad bit odd and quick end to the meal we were finishing up but overall okay experience. Very scenic otherwise and good wines.“
