One time I came here, I was missing some sushi that I hadn't seen anywhere here in Canada, that I used to eat regularly back in South Africa. I took a chance, and asked the waitress if they would be willing to copy it if I had a picture, and after she went to show the chef the picture, I actually got what I was looking for, and it was delicious! This was the best experience I've had at any restaurant! Fantastic people here.
A local North Vancouver gem for Japanese food. The quality and consistency of this place is always good in the three years that I have been going here. They have daily specials which are not on the menu so something to check when you’re there. It can get a bit busy during dinner time so make reservations.

We love Sansho sushi. It has become our go-to in North Van for dinner. We are always impressed with the quality and value. The staff are incredible and we are always glad we went. Highly recommend.
