“I'm Japanese and have lived in North Van for 5 years. It's more of a typical westernized sushi restaurant than a 100% authentic sushi restaurant, but it's my favorite sushi restaurant in North Van. The tempura is crispy and delicious, and the fish is fresh and delicious. The size is small, same as in Japan, and the balance of sashimi and rice is excellent. The pork cutlet and fried chicken are at the level of an izakaya, but if you want to mainly eat sushi, I recommend Hachi Hana because the number of customers is good. is! (Shari is made by a trendy robot?)“

“Great sushi place. I love their free tea pot which they refill. The service is really good but most importantly the food quality is top notch. Their lunch/dinner box is a great deal with lots of food. I hope they don’t drop the quality/quantity.“

“I’m not sure why the low review score. I had the Salmon Teriyaki lunch special. The salmon was cooked to perfection. All the other items - tempura, rice were all good. I particularly liked the ‘spicy’ miso. An interesting twist on miso. Also flavourful.
Parking: In a mall. Across from the Lynn Valley library.“

“They offer an all-you-can-eat option for about $50 per person. It’s best to start by ordering less than you think you can eat and then order more if you’re still hungry. Some rolls weren’t firm enough and tended to fall apart, but the taste was good, and the staff were friendly.“

“It was not bad. I'm not going to lie to say I've had better. The ramen was a bit disappointing because even vegan ramens at regular ramen places seem to be tastier and have more toppings. The tan tan noodle was interesting. It looked really good presentation wise and the taste was pretty good as well.“

“Always greeted with a smile, very welcoming. The chubby sashimi and rice show they’re made with care. My favorite is salmon nigiri. I love dining in after work for a cozy meal with music. The creative rolls are always fun to try, and I love their unique names;) It must be great to enjoy takeout sushi by the ocean! 고맙습니다“

“Location is a little tight. That’s about all that is challenging about this place. Once they have 10 customers in you will have to wait. We didn’t have to wait and the service was really good.
The sushi was actually quite fresh and well prepared. Would definitely repeat and or order out as well.“

“Im going to Jordan Sushi multiple times a month,
often with a crew of hungry friends in town.
And aside from a few minor missteps, this place has consistently delivered.
The sushi? Fresh, expertly prepared, and presented with pride.
But the real showstopper today was the Nagasaki Jjamppong - seafood stew .
Jordan Sushi isn't reinventing the wheel, but they're damn good at what they do. Consistency is key, and they've got it locked down.
Already planning the next visit.“

“I am appalled by the tone of many of these reviews. This is not the place to take revenge on a business owner because you have a view about the racist, mistreatment that he received from a local resident. I am honestly disturbed by theses behaviours.
This aside, this mom and pop restaurant is a gem in Edgemont Village and on the North Shore for that matter. The owners are hard-working, honest people who take great pride in the food that they serve. I have always had a great meal there over the last 20 years. The restaurant is CLEAN and the food is always FRESH. The owners value high quality ingredients and this is exactly what you get.“

“Was absolutely blown away by the service. Servers constantly swinging around the tables taking away empty plates, refilling water/tea. I even unwrapped my chopsticks before any food or anything had even come yet, and I look away for a moment and the wrapper has vanished. That's how fast and attentive the service is. A lot of other restaurants it feels like you have to beg for the attention of the server to get anything. While here you really feel cared for. Not to mention the sushi was great and the vibe was nice. A little more on the expensive side but wouldn't call it outrageous. Come here for an excellent dine in restaurant experience.“

They opened the door for me and welcomed me and made sure I always had water. Cozy, friendly, professional. Really happy I came here.“
