Especially, mackerel hako sushi was the best of all mackerel that I ate in Canada. Not only the fish, sushi rice was so good! Thanks to these great foods, we could spend the great anniversary! We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the food here. My family and I really enjoyed the tempura, bento boxes, aburi nigiri, and saba oshi. At first, they thought they had given us the wrong order, but it turned out they had it right, but still let us keep the extras at no charge, which was really nice of them!

Our server was super nice and attentive, but things got crazy busy all of a sudden when the lunch crowd came in. She was trying to handle takeout phone calls, pickup orders, and dine-in customers all at once. Poor woman definitely needed some backup! She still did a great job and stayed friendly and attentive even with everything going on.

Overall, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. We’ll definitely come back!“

We had the party tray A, which was shared between two people. We both left full and pleased. My little one enjoyed the miso soup (as did I). There were 3 bits of sponge like bits on top which I am unsure of what they were, but I ate them anyway as I assumed they were dehydrated tofu potentially? “I've been here multiple times for both dine-in and takeout, and the food has always been great. Sometimes they seem to be a bit understaffed as it takes some time to get the food but most times it’s been worth the wait. Dining in is especially nice because of the unique atmosphere of the heritage building. I've always enjoyed my visits and will definitely keep coming back.“

“I was near Iron Chef Sushi when I decided to go get dinner and didn't feel like searching all over Fort Langley for a restaurant. To my surprise, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, even though it was right next to the Jazz & Art Festival.

I ordered the Tuna & Salmon Chirashi along with the Crazy Boy Sushi Roll. The chirashi was excellent—the fish was fresh and flavourful, and the fermented sushi rice complemented it perfectly. The Crazy Boy Roll was just as enjoyable, with well-balanced ingredients that worked nicely with the rice.

The service was attentive and efficient, and I never found myself waiting for anything. While the restaurant doesn't have the most traditional Japanese ambiance—smooth jazz was playing during my visit—it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere, which I appreciated.

Overall, Iron Chef Sushi is a very good Japanese restaurant in Fort Langley. The quality of the food and the great service made for an enjoyable dining experience, and I'd be happy to return.“

“I have to give the BIGGEST shout out to Village sushi.
I’ve ordered from them recently quite a bit and it’s the same every time, same mods same food.
Today I forgot to add one of my usual modifications… and they called me to check if I wanted the sauce or not because Ive always put a note asking for no sauce and this time I didn’t. Like what! The care! ☺
I order through Uber Eats and honestly if this is not going above and beyond, caring and knowing your costumers… even your fairly new ones, thn idk what is because WOW
The food has always been outstanding since I started ordering there but the attention and costumed service that I just experienced!! Mind blown.

It was my first time at this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, and everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. “Landed in Langley last weekend visiting from Alberta and my cousin insisted we try Hitori for dinner around 7pm, glad we listened because the place was packed but they still got us seated fast. The chirashi bowl was easily the freshest raw fish I've had outside of actually being on the coast, and the miso soup that came with it was a nice touch. Staff were really attentive without being pushy, checked on us a couple times but never made us feel rushed even though people were waiting for tables. Parking behind the building was surprisingly easy to find too, which made the whole night stress free.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“
