“Have been here so many times I’ve lost count, the food is always incredible, service is wonderful, I only wish they had a full on restaurant for a better dining experience, their Woomi roll is an incredible house roll and their presentation is always BEAUTIFUL!! Cannot recommend enough“

“A small family-run restaurant tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Seating is limited (around 20 seats), so it can get quite busy and may not be ideal for larger groups.

The menu offers a wide variety of choices. We tried a couple of bento boxes, a Korean stone rice bowl, and a few pressed sushi dishes. Overall, the food quality was decent. One of the bento boxes was supposed to include snapper tempura, though it tasted more like sole. I didn’t bother raising the issue since there was only one server handling everything — including taking orders, serving tables, and answering phone calls — and she was clearly overwhelmed.

Parking in the residential area is quite limited, but there are several paid parking spots available in the condo building next to the restaurant.“

Yeah the guy has a bit of an attitude and told us he was sold out of two separate things we wanted but I'm not even mad about that because the portions of his dishes are MASSIVE and he could definitely be charging more if he wanted to.“

“Great sushi spot I hope. Me and my friend had the san/Jo sets and honestly for 24/22 each it was really good. Like I think I would find myself craving it again. I loved how the chicken was fried for my set , though my friend mentioned the beef in her don was a tad dry. The sushi and sashimi here is perfect though , I love what they did with the rice , the way they set up their sushi viniger will keep me coming back. We enjoyed most of the side dishes , I think there were one or two we though were just okay .
But yeah , I would totally have it again just for the sushi and sashimi, maybe even just order some of those items specifically.“

“UNDER RATED! My favourite sushi place in new west, if you’re looking for affordable healthy food (or not so healthy) look no further. Their house salad is the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life. The staff are very nice, it’s incredibly affordable, it’s real cute too. But the fooodddddd omggggggg I can go there and fill up on sushi for like 10 bucks? Depending on how fancy I go. There’s an awesome variety. I literally don’t eat raw fish and I’m a pretty picky eater. But literally every time I go I find something new I like and I’ve been there so many times. It’s also so chill in there because not enough people come, so you have space and don’t feel rushed. Sometimes I just draw there and eat sushi for like hours.“

“Great little spot that is not only affordable but authentic with an older couple running it. Husband is the chef, wife manages front of house/restaurant. This is truly supporting local. Again, cheaper than Vancouver comparisons with the same quality ingredients. Sashimi salmon is wild and melts in the mouth. Got takeout and was not disappointed will go back and try more.“

“My wife is making me do this because if you review them you get a free soft drink. Coercion aside, it does deserve a good review. My mother suggested I mention that the music is at a tolerable level, for her. That’s a surprisingly big thing for her.“
