The only thing I found wanting was pictures in the menu—it would’ve been nice to see exactly what I was ordering. Otherwise, a darling place to have dinner with friends!“

Especially, mackerel hako sushi was the best of all mackerel that I ate in Canada. Not only the fish, sushi rice was so good! Thanks to these great foods, we could spend the great anniversary! “We were given a private room in the back with a very cute Japanese style seating, with beautiful decor and privacy. The server was amazing, always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was very quick, and it tasted SOOOOOO GOOD!!! Even the presentation of the food was so fun! “Nice Sushi is one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. The portions are very generous! Every time I come here, I leave completely full (and happily so!). The fish is fresh, the rolls are well made, and you truly get great value for what you pay.
What really sets this place apart is the warm and thoughtful service. The staff are always friendly and care about their customers. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in.

“This is a quality sushi place. The sushi was B+, but the price was an excellent deal. The Bento Box was a fairly big - didn't finish the Tempura. Cali roll was very good. This place is 5 stars because the dishes were huge (also had the wild salmon teriyaki), and the service/bathrooms/seating were immaculate. We will go back. Next time I'll stick to the sushi & maybe a salad. For some reason, Sushi places in BC are so much better/cheaper than US. Go eat at Momo Taro if you're hungry or on a budget.“

“I’ve been coming to this sushi place for a few years now. It’s one of those neighborhood spots that’s been around for a long time.

The food is clean and consistent, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous compared to other sushi places. You can tell it’s been supported by the community for years.

It’s not fancy, but that’s part of what I like about it. Places that stay in the same spot for over 10 years usually do so for a reason. I’ve always enjoyed my meals here.“

There are only a few booths and the decor is pretty spartan but for $25 I got the sashimi lunch box and I was full. Not even sure if I got upcharged for a spicy tuna roll instead of a Cali roll.“

“Love the sushi. The Toro and Salmon nigiri have the biggest cuts of fish I have seen other than the Tokyo Fish Market. The restaurant accidentally forgot to throw in one of my rolls on a takeout order, and they delivered it to my house in less than 10 mins… felt more like 5 mins.“

“My daughter Celestine loves to eat here with their chicken yakisuba without veges with extra teriyaki sauce on the side. Guys in this store specially those filipino guys who cook your orders were very nice, also the casher she familiarize the faces of who's always buying to their store and memorize their orders so that next time you buy again from them you don't need to speak anymore as she already know what to do to your order, sometime she ask questions just to verify your order in case there's any changes . Unlimited scoop of teriyaki sauce as well with those two nice cook guys. Try it yourself then let me know if I'm wrong of what I'm saying. 🙂“

“This place is highly recommended by others. We struggled a little bit in fairness it was on Father's Day so they were very very busy. I called in and ordered it was hard to hear the girl on the phone she was kind of confused what we were ordering but that was okay it was good. They said 25 minutes for pickup after getting their 30 minutes later waited almost another full half hour for the food. The sushi was fresh and really done well but the service really is lacking. The server seemed annoyed with us I'm just trying to Usher us out of there. I think it might be better to try it on a day when it isn't so busy“

The atmosphere and ambience was wonderful. I absolutely loved the modern decor, high ceilings with wide open space seating.
Not feeling so overwhelmed with people packed in like sardines like at most Sushi places.
I am so surprised how there are not enough people giving 5 stars here.
I was genuinely sad when I did go by a month ago & they were closed yet I was hoping it was just for possibly renovations of some sort because I see they are open again,Yeah!
Excited to have a fresh experience there again.
