Utensils can be a bit dirty, and the servers could be a bit more attentive. I got my drink filled once and it wasn't busy..

I think it was pretty good overall. Service was nice, I think the style of sushi was not my cup of tea at some points but overall bang for your buck is great- the serving sizes are quite large and super filling. Overall nice experience

Surrey Damiko Sushi is a local family run sushi restaurant. The staff are extremely warm, friendly, and attentive, with great service. The food is excellent, always fresh, and top-notch Japanese cuisine with authentic flavours. The quality is consistent, with well seasoned and wonderful dishes. Bang for your buck is great, serving sizes are quite large and super filling, and prices are decent. The Damiko roll, dragon roll, chicken teriyaki roll, and chicken Karaage are phenomenal. The Damiko House Salad is a perfect meal with an incredible house dressing. The miso soup is the best, with deep, rich, perfect umami. The spicy agadeshi tofu and extra crispy Agedashi tofu are also recommended. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. This place is a hidden gem and a must-visit.
