“Highly recommend! The service was amazing and the quality of the fish was out of this world. They are my new go to!!! The Salmon don was exquisite and their rice was to die for. The ambience of the restaurant only added to the experiences. You can’t go wrong with choosing sushi house!“
“Our office has been eating in and ordering takeout from this lovely restaurant for 4 years now and we love it more than ever. Amazing quality food - definitely a step above the average. Very generous size dinner boxes! Can't wait to sit down inside again or on the back patio in summer.“
“6 for lunch before a movie. 1st visit for most of us. Everyone enjoyed the cozy, open atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. We all had bento boxes, food was fresh and delicious. Generous portions, came out fast. My veggie box had tofu teriyaki, rice, tempura, salad, veg roll, and miso soup. They have a drink menu with many choices, but we had tea & pop. Will definitely return!“
“The sushi is hands down some of the best I've ever had. I was really surprised with the Palm Springs roll. The fruit additions to it were fresh and delicious! The initial walk in was friendly and the prices were great. Only negative I have is my empty glass of water sat at the edge of the table the entire meal and no one came to check.Besides that, absolutely coming back for take out. Fantastic sushi.“
“By far the best sushi in Maple Ridge, and I don’t say it lightly. I’ve been growing disappointed with some other sushi restaurants in town as of late. I noticed that sushi and rolls became bigger due to lots of rice, but much smaller on signature ingredients. I know the economy is tough but come on! But Hako sushi is not one of those places! My son and I were blown away by the freshness of ingredients and even garnishes like salad leaves that accompanied our rolls. So glad to have discovered this small and unpretentious place with fantastic food and very attentive service!“
“I've always wanted to try spicy crab pasta. It was great, as I expected. We additionally ordered assorted sushi and salmon sashimi. They tasted really great. The service and cleanliness of the store were also very good. You can also taste Sapporo beer every day for the great price of buy-one-get-one $9.99.Enjoy it!?❤️“
“Amazing service first and foremost. Quickly sat. Staff cared about our comfort, moving furniture around to accommodate disability. Food came out incredibly fast and was delicious! Amazed with the speed of our entire lunch order - quite literally out in minutes. Friendly, good food, good service - will be back!“
“Was looking for sushi near poco and fortunately came across this very clean and friendly sushi spot. The food was simply delicious, was served within reasonable time and the staff was super friendly. If you are looking for an excellent sushi spot in poco you must check it out.“
“1st time, located in nice area by Fraser Heights, right off the Hwy so convenient for me.Here’s the go-to, absolutely is their signature: the Zion roll! As per pic, whatever sauce it is, it’s downright different and delicious! 10/10Tornado roll: prawn, crab meat & tuna tataki: 8/10Salmon Oishii: stay away! Just average, rice way too thick, n no bite to it in terms of the jalepeno, barely tasted it. Good mayo though.Looking forward to trying other rolls soon!Friendly service for pickup.Would’ve been a 5 if they accepted Amex.“
“Good vibe, very clean, and excellent serving experience- if you are willing to spend $50+ per person. Probably the top-notch Korean BBQ place in the Fraser Valley area. They give you dessert for free and their choice meat is grwat-quality indeed. I would take my friends or family here on special occasions though, as their price tag is up there.Parking: You need to remember your carplate number.“
“The older lady who works here is very kind, funny, and witty. The presentation, price, and potions of everything here was good. I would definitely come back. They have a large menu so tons of items to try each time. The sushi tacos here are unique from other restaurants. I would highly recommend the uni taco and the negi maguro. I thought the oyster Motoyaki was okay. It came with spinach and sliced onions, and cheese. I personally wouldn’t order it again. I generally like mine with mayo, cheese, lime, and cubed mushrooms and or cubed onions. The Beef Tenderloin & Foie Gras Aburi Oshi was okay, I could personally do without the foie gras as I’m not a fan. We ordered the assorted sashimi which was good, as well as the Kosho Aburi Roll“
“You really can't beat their presentation. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Their staff is amazing. Super friendly and service is great. We come here as a family with a 14 month old and they are super sweet to her. She loves them. It's a wonderful restaurant. Definitely our go to sushi place.“
“All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the customer service was above and beyond. They were so kind, especially to our children. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: They were so welcoming and kind to our children. Special waters, plates and even treats at the end. Thank you!“
“This sushi place was great - the food tasted good, it had a charming atmosphere, and the service was really good.Parking: The parking spots are too small and there's always nowhere to park. That's why I recommend going underground. There are plenty of parking spots there.“
“Definitely felt like an authentic Japan omakase, takes about an hour total. The grilled black cod??? Freshest fish you’ll ever have around here? Tempura was so unique and delicious too.The chef really adds to the experience, caring with such a genuine and warm smile! Even came out the back door to send us off after closing time. Dining there makes you feel super special?“
“What can I say about Shushi Musa, as they continue to amaze with their quick service and food quality. So far, this is the best Shushi place in the area and trust me, I am very selective when it comes to food; Shushi is always delicious (and top notch) and also, just at the right price. Very clean inside and thoughtfully decorated; perfect for a family or other type of fine dining experience. I'm hoping they will open on Sundays in the future, again no complaints.Vegetarian options: The size of each Shushi roll with a sufficient quantity of food is definitely filling.Parking: Adequate parking and easily accessible location.“
“This is my family’s favourite Sushi spot in the whole lower mainland. The quality is beyond expectations and flavourful, fresh ingredients and the service is spot on. I highly recommend the Toro Nigiri!! Everything we’ve ordered is amazing. Owners and staff are super welcoming and always offer great service. This is definitely a gem in the neighborhood and deserves much praise. We come here at least once or twice a month. Worth the drive if you live far trust me.“
“Lunch bentos were well portioned and varied, tuna tataki had a great smoky flavor, aburi sushi was delicious and so were the maki rolls. Would say that the rice could have been a bit firmer. But overall a great experience, we also received some unique complementary sushi pieces to compensate for the wait time!“
“Food was ready on time, great smile and greeting, and the food tasted great! The prices are hard to beat as well as they’re cheaper but the quality of sushi was awesome! the sushi rolls itself were nice in size and weren’t overly “ricey” (not too much rice) so that was well balanced. 8 pieces for each roll I got (spicy tuna and california). This place was close by my office as well so I’ll definitely be ordering here again in the future! 너무 감사합니다! 다음에 또 주문할께요 ~“
“Came here with a girlfriend for dinner and the service was excellent, the food was delicious. I had sashimi, and a dynamite roll and we shared the crazy california roll. Her and I stayed there for hours chatting and they never rushed us or anything. We really appreciated it.“
“Sushi, sashimi, and katsu are all very good! Each is very different and unique in flavor. Katsu is very crispy and flaky, sashimi tastes so fresh, and sushi is very flavorful but still balanced also, the atmosphere is very aesthetic and modern. And not to mention, the display/plating of the food is so pretty.“
“First time coming here and the service was amazing. The lady serving us was so nice and welcoming. I had miso soup, the tuna and salmon combo with yam tempura and it was all delicious. Since it was my birthday, I also got 2 mochi ice cream! The decorations and everything were also very cool and interesting.“
“Everything from the miso soup to the special roll was made with care and precision; it also tasted great! I went there this evening, an hour from when they were going to close, and I was met not with sigh, or a look, but a friendly smile and a welcoming attitude. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and still exudes a calmness. The owners engaged in conversation with me, even though they had a lot to do before closing. I was the only client in there, and they treated me like a houseguest in their home. If you want good food, and a great atmosphere and a chance to support local business, come give this one of a kind sushi shop a try.“
“Very nice place, hidden gem in Langley. Lot of vegetarian roll options available.. my absolute favourite is Yam Yam roll, can’t get enough of those. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and very fulfilling and prices are genuine. Extensive menu, options available for vegetarians.Vegetarian options: Different types of rolls available with Vegetarian options.“
“Celebrated a family anniversary with delicious omakase from Keith and Chika's teamwork. Chika also asked for allergies and special requests, which was very welcome.Would love to try the assorted sashimi platter and some nigiri next time I'm in. Pick up orders are one day at least in advance. Omakase starts from $90/ppMy favorites from this platter (if I recall correctly from Keith's kind explanation) were Engawa, sablefish, Spanish mackerel, Hokkaido hotate, Keith's special scallop salmon nigiri and a few other fish in there. Looking forward to returning soon.“
“Wow food here very delicious. Had Beef Terryaki with Miso soup, may be best Ive had! Miso & Tea also amazing. Had great a great selection of appies, salads, rolls/specialty rolls, rolll combos, noodles, nigiri, cones, soup etc and even had healthier upgrades like black rice and wild Sockeye salmon. I will be back if in area ❤️Kid-friendliness: lots of parkung right out frontWheelchair accessibility: yes“
“A fan of Togo Sushi Sashimi... Tried out their new menu - Korean Chirashi Donburi. The sashimi was fresh and the amount was very generous. I loved the way the spicy & sweet sauce blended well with the sashimi and the rice. Please make this menu permanent“
“I see the high reviews but for me I'm not huge on this place. Reason being is the price is so expensive and I do find it lacks flavour. The lunch boxes are nice because you get gomae as well and presentation is very nice on everything, again lacks flavour and sauce and I just don't see the hype.“
“I have lived in Maple Ridge for 30 years and used to have to head towards Vancouver for great sushi.I am so happy to say that the most delicious sushi place is right here in town!I get the fusion or baked rolls most of the time! While the restaurant is small, it is full of character! The staff is so friendly and wonderful, this place is my absolute favourite! Why are you still reading this? Go order some Maple Sushi, you silly goose!“
“This is based on delivering orders. Foods tasted good compared to many competitors in Maple Ridge. Portion is just ok, most of dishes are small. Prepare speed is very slow. Expensive, but not bad with promotions. Overall experience were good. Based on personal experience, I would only order when the promotions are available.“
“Very quaint sushi restaurant in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The interior was very quaint and the staff were very nice. The kake udon broth was especially good, and I liked the amount of salmon provided for the two pieces of salmon nigiri that I ordered. The atmosphere is very nice, and I enjoyed the soft piano jazz that was playing in the background. Hidden gem for sure.“
“Craving Japanese food in Coquitlam? Shio Kitchen impresses! They balance classic sushi with unique creations like the Katsu Burger. Beyond sushi, they offer flavorful rice bowls, noodles, and creative entrees. Lunch and dinner combos deliver value. The modern space with counter seating creates a casual vibe. Fresh ingredients, variety, and friendly service make Shio a must-try.“
“Hidden sushi gem in Surrey! Surprisingly my go-to sushi spot; quality rolls with good portion sizes, for a decent price. Have been dining in and ordering takeout out, no changes in quality. Service is always attentive, small cozy shop. Very underrated!!“
“We always come here for takeout sushi and it's one of the best. Simple rolls but well done and they have big portions. I was always surprised when I go to other spots that have tiny rolls the size of a loony and sell it for the same price as theirs. Highly recommend this place for simple and no gimmick but amazing food!“
“Generous portions and if you love Miso soup, Ko’s imo is one of the Lower Mainland’s best in overall taste delivered piping hot. This family business exceeds your expectations in both customer service and extreme friendliness. You are greeted with warm smiles and allowed to sit where you feel most comfortable.Great menu and don’t be afraid to bring an appetite as they serve one of the largest dishes of California rolls on the planet. We highly recommend Ko’sOur family has had countless visits and will continue to patronize this beautiful family run local business. This is your best choice in the Murrayville/Langley marketplace.“
“Wonderful experience! Celebrated our fathers 75th birthday and they welcomed our party of 10. We extended our stay for a total of 2 1/2 hours and they gladly welcomed us! I got their salmon poke bowl and it is amazing! Will definitely stop by when I'm in the are next! Food prices are very competitive:)“
“We often come here for a fresh, delicious traditional Japanese dinner here. We always order the otoro, uni, spot prawn( head fried, body sashimi) and some other nigiri sushi and unagi don, my kid's most favorite dish. It's not cheap but you won't regret it. It's the best one with quality and tasty Japanese food in the Surrey / Langley area.Parking: Some spots in the parking place are reserved by the restaurant and there are more in the small plaza.“
“The waitress was very helpful, kind, and considerate.I ordered:One corn salad inari sushi. One tempura inari sushi. One unagi inari sushi.Three spicy inari sushi.I loved everything, everything tasted perfect. Especially the rice that was made with sesame oil, it had a perfect balance. The toppings for each sushi was fantastic, very tasty and wonderful.Highly recommended. The price was roughly $23 dollars, this was a good price. Please note:I cut the size of the box with scizzers because I wanted a clear picture.“
“i’m very picky with sushi places and i find it’s very hard to find a good sushi. but tokyo is my favourite place to go to. the service when walking in this door is welcoming and friendly. they get the dishes out very fast and it’s always very clean!if you want welcoming, fast service and quality sushi. i will always recommend this place!“
“After our fifth run at this location, the sushi presentations are excellent. The rolls are tight, good portion to price, and neat. This has been now our place to dine or order pick up as the dishes are prepared and consistently done right. I finally ordered assorted tempura as take out and they separated it from other packaging. Basically on its own plastic bag so they are warm and crispy. Will add photos next round as too anxious to eat.“
“Didn’t take pictures of the food but the quality was really good. Came in not expecting much but probably the best tonkatsu place around. The quantity and quality were great. Price is a bit higher than I’d like but no complaints paying for the better quality. The batter isn’t too thick, also really well balanced with the quantity. They have an offer of unlimited rice, soup, and salad. But the quantity they give makes you not have to rely on the fillers. The salad is very finely chopped which is great but the miso soup was a bit too watered down but not bad. This will be my go to place for tonkatsu going forward ??“
“I don’t go out to Langley very much but when I do The Katsu is definitely one of the places I go to. The cheese katsu is my favourite but I like all of their other items too. I think the prices are really good especially if you compare them to other katsu restaurants. Our server was super nice and checked on our table often. I saw a few reviews saying it was hard to find parking, we always just park at the rec centre across the street and we’ve haven’t had any issues.“
“This was my first time trying CakeYa and I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cake. I ordered the macha and red bean cake for a friend's birthday brought it on a plane to the Yukon and ate it the next day and it was unbelievably fresh, moist, authentic flavors and the best part not overly sweet at all. It has been one of the best cakes I have honestly ever had. I would highly recommend this bakery for any special cakes especially if you like cakes on the more natural not so sweet side. It was just perfect and staff were very friendly and sweet. A little gem in Port Moody for sure!“
“The best sushi in Vancouver! The sashimi pieces are huge, and the spicy mayo salmon roll is to die for. Five stars because it's FANTASTIC value for how much you get! We got the Sashimi Bento Box, the Spicy Combo (not pictured) and the Daily Special with Salmon Sashimi, Tuna Avocado Roll and Yam Tempura.“
“This is an excellent place to enjoy Japanese cuisine. We have been coming here a couple times as a family and we enjoyed our experiences. The servers were welcoming and delightful, offering us the menu and drinks promptly. There are a variety of options to choice from on the menu, from sushi rolls and appetizers to combos and lunch/dinner boxes. The seating were comfortable and includes many walled, rectangular enclosed spaces. The food came out fresh and in generous quantity while maintaining quality in a timely manner. For the proportion we get and the freshness, the overall price is reasonable. The atmosphere is calm, soothing and laid-back. There is no overpowering music and no loud ambiance. The washrooms are generally clean and functional. After paying, we got little natural fruit candies. I highly suggest giving this place a try if you crave sushi in the Williowbrook area.“
“I have tried dozens upon dozens of sushi restaurants throughout the lower mainland, and this place is as simple and authentic as it gets. For people that can really appreciate fresh, authentically prepared nigiri and can taste the difference in quality - this place is for you.“
“Visiting our daughter in Langley. She had gone to see Ed Sheeran in Vancouver so we decided to get a take-away for the two of us as we were "baby-sitting" our four year old Grandson. Great food as usual and they paid particular attention to my wife's allergy to fish and sea-food. Really nice people and service and delightful food at decent prices - what more can one ask. Next visit to Vancouver is December so we will be back.“
“Quality is incredible. Sashimi is top notch, and even the Cali rolls (staple at all sushi spots) are delicious. Friendly staff and great drink selections. Absolutely amazing spot. I live in East Van and I've now found a spot that I will drive too.“
“Had a great dining experience, nice ambiance and tasteful decorations.Perfectly prepared specialty rolls with a variety of flavors and textures. We appreciate a bit of heat so it was nice to have the West Coast, 911, and jalapeño rolls for that satisfying kick. They take a lot of care in preparation and presentation. Our kids couldn’t resist the freshness of the salmon sashimi and devoured it. Moreover, the tempura was flawlessly fried to a golden crisp. My personal favorite was the Salmon Oshi with a savory and lightly flame kissed flavor. The restaurant not only excels in crafting delectable dishes but also in creating an inviting atmosphere. It’s evident that the culinary team takes pride in delivering top-notch quality. Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit to savor more of their culinary delights. A gem for both sushi enthusiasts and those seeking a serene dining haven.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love booths.“
“Amazing and cozy sushi restaurant in Tri-city!! Easy to access from Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and even Langley as well!! Sushi expert and avengers are here. Owner is using very fresh fishes and vegetables, then kitchen foods are also very awesome ?“
