Ate at Genji's after a long day of riding bikes. Just came down from Seymour and was looking for a spot. Staff were super accommodating, watched our bikes for us as we ate, even helped charge my phone!Food was top notch. The tofu teriyaki really hit the spot, and the seaweeds salad (4 different types of seaweed) was really unique and delicious. Wish there had been more of it, but made it more special I suppose. Was served with lemon, which rounded the flavour out really well....read full review
We have been going to Genji for many years. I think it's one of the best Japanese restaurants in North Van. They have recently had a new interior makeover. We went on Saturday and were lucky to get a booth. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive.

We discovered this place accidentally. The food is delicious, the service is good, and the dining environment is clean and warm. It's great. The disadvantage is that when we haven't finished our meal, they clear away the plates and give us the bill, as if they want us to leave as soon as possible, which makes us feel very uncomfortable.
