“Nice place were you will feel a home/restaurant atmosphere.

The miso blow my mind. The spring rolls seams handmade and were very tasty. The teriyaki beef plate was extremely tasty. Now the sushi was very tasty but wasn't that delicious. It was a little frozen in the center and even if I can appreciate freshness it was more on the frozen zone.

But will be back! There is more in that menu to try“

“Came here on a busy Saturday night for my friend’s birthday.
We were a group of over 20 people, so I expected there might be some mistakes with the orders, but everything came out perfectly.
The food came out quickly, the drinks were great, and the service was smooth all night.
Big shoutout to our server!!!! she handled everything amazingly.

“Been here a couple of times and super great food at a decent price. The restaurant is a bit run down and needs a refresh but it has a certain charm about it. The lady was very accommodating and friendly when we got our carry out. All the food was very fresh and delicious! I didn't order the Karage chicken because I prefer it boneless, not just wings. Still, got the tempura and katsu and all was well!“

“I placed a very large order with a complicated request on packing it all (so our pick up and distribution was easier). The food was absolutely fantastic! It was fresh and pretty in design, and absolutely spot on fullfilled my packing requests. “I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“My daughter had her 12 Birthday Party at Sushi Asakusa with nine of her friends. The food was Amazing and Delicious. The service was out of this world. And the she had a very memorable time at Sushi Asakusa. THANK YOU to the staff for all your time and dedication.

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“The Honest Truth (Facts):- menu prices are reasonable and affordable;- cafe is clean inside and has a subtle hint of a sushi restaurant;- located steps outside the Langley hospital;- pay parking and no free parking, as it is on the hospital grounds;- accessible if disabled, via wheel chair, walkers, or crutches;- open weekdays 9am to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 3pm, holidays and Sundays closed;(Personal Experience)If you don't want to wait in the hospital just come to this little paradise. The food was average, I had mixed veggie sushi roll and an avacado roll, but it was fresh and healthy.Lots of options here so my opinion is very limited to those two options.The owner's are friendly and respectful.“
