“I placed a very large order with a complicated request on packing it all (so our pick up and distribution was easier). The food was absolutely fantastic! It was fresh and pretty in design, and absolutely spot on fullfilled my packing requests. They even provided complimentary items in appreciation <3 The owners were such lovely people and gave a very personal touch to the order. I absolutely recommend Togo Plus in Brookswood. “I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“Sunday morning is such a good time to hit up Hitori, way less crowded so we got a table right away without a wait. My friends and I split the salmon oshi sushi and the chirashi bowl and everything was so fresh, you could tell it wasn't sitting around. The staff was genuinely friendly too, they walked us through a few menu items we hadn't tried before without making us feel rushed. Parking behind the building was easy to find which made the whole morning even more relaxed, we'll definitely be back for another weekend brunch here.“

Daughter says the washrooms had a good vibe and that she wants to recommend and she gives it five stars!“

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“We ordered lots of food from here for our baby's 100 day celebration. All the food came with excellent quality and taste were very perfect. The couple who took our order and prepare our food were very kind and nice and very friendly.

We stopped by California Sushi and had a wonderful dining experience. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were beautifully presented. The service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant had a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend the special rolls! Will definitely be back.

“Super cute little sushi resteraunt with fresh and filling sushi. My only complaint is that we asked to add mango to the yam roll, which was only added to the two end pieces. We had the party tray A, which was shared between two people. We both left full and pleased. My little one enjoyed the miso soup (as did I). There were 3 bits of sponge like bits on top which I am unsure of what they were, but I ate them anyway as I assumed they were dehydrated tofu potentially? Either way it was piping hot, fresh and delicious! Will be back!“

“The Honest Truth (Facts):- menu prices are reasonable and affordable;- cafe is clean inside and has a subtle hint of a sushi restaurant;- located steps outside the Langley hospital;- pay parking and no free parking, as it is on the hospital grounds;- accessible if disabled, via wheel chair, walkers, or crutches;- open weekdays 9am to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 3pm, holidays and Sundays closed;(Personal Experience)If you don't want to wait in the hospital just come to this little paradise. The food was average, I had mixed veggie sushi roll and an avacado roll, but it was fresh and healthy.Lots of options here so my opinion is very limited to those two options.The owner's are friendly and respectful.“

We tried their new Lotus Roll and it was super good. Be warned if you get one of their dinner box's be prepared to be very full or take left overs home with you.“
