“Came here on a busy Saturday night for my friend’s birthday.
We were a group of over 20 people, so I expected there might be some mistakes with the orders, but everything came out perfectly.
The food came out quickly, the drinks were great, and the service was smooth all night.
Big shoutout to our server!!!! she handled everything amazingly.
What surprised me the most was the payment at the end.

“Been here a couple of times and super great food at a decent price. The restaurant is a bit run down and needs a refresh but it has a certain charm about it. The lady was very accommodating and friendly when we got our carry out. All the food was very fresh and delicious! I didn't order the Karage chicken because I prefer it boneless, not just wings. Still, got the tempura and katsu and all was well!“

“Great sushi at decent prices. Hitori is always the go to for my coworkers and I. We love how friendly and fast the service is and the great quality sushi. Never had something that was disappointing! My go to is the Hitori 5 for a filling and delicious lunch combo.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“On our way to Derby Park, we picked up sushi to go, and we were very impressed. The sashimi and sushi were exceptionally fresh, the teriyaki was excellent—not overly salty or too sweet—and the tempura was perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious.
On top of that, the service was wonderful. Thanks to you, our whole family was able to enjoy a truly happy time at the park, delighting both our eyes and taste buds. We are very grateful for the wonderful experience.

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“Overall, great experience. I had takeout and it was a very easy process, especially because the wrapping was strong and leak proof. This is important to me because I have to walk to my house. Prices were very competitive. One thing, is that I would not eat-in because the atmosphere is not attractive.“

“Tasty sushi and quick service. There are a huge variety of rolls available and the menu certainly leans towards fried, rich, saucy maki and creative rolls. The takoyaki, edamame and rolls are all quite tasty and great for take-out or dining in. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.“

“The Honest Truth (Facts):- menu prices are reasonable and affordable;- cafe is clean inside and has a subtle hint of a sushi restaurant;- located steps outside the Langley hospital;- pay parking and no free parking, as it is on the hospital grounds;- accessible if disabled, via wheel chair, walkers, or crutches;- open weekdays 9am to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 3pm, holidays and Sundays closed;(Personal Experience)If you don't want to wait in the hospital just come to this little paradise. The food was average, I had mixed veggie sushi roll and an avacado roll, but it was fresh and healthy.Lots of options here so my opinion is very limited to those two options.The owner's are friendly and respectful.“
