“Yoko In Austin Heights is awesome ?. Been ordering take out for years, but decided to dine in today. The food has always been reliable, fresh and good variety of offerings. One thing that stood out to us on this visit was this hedgehog ? dessert. It was a chocolate ? covered chocolate gelato ice cream ?, it was so good. I highly suggest you try it out. We ordered the chicken cutlet and the teriyaki beef roll. We normally or the Maki, oshi and negiri which is good but this time we wanted to try other options and we were pleasantly surprised. The chicken cutlet was nice and crispy dark chicken ? meat and when he dipped it into the sauce that came with it was tasty. I left happy content and full...“
“The waitress was very helpful, kind, and considerate.I ordered:One corn salad inari sushi. One tempura inari sushi. One unagi inari sushi.Three spicy inari sushi.I loved everything, everything tasted perfect. Especially the rice that was made with sesame oil, it had a perfect balance. The toppings for each sushi was fantastic, very tasty and wonderful.Highly recommended. The price was roughly $23 dollars, this was a good price. Please note:I cut the size of the box with scizzers because I wanted a clear picture.“
“This place is fantastic and I hope they never change, it doesn't look like they will given they've been around a while. The food exceeded my high expectations and it was the best meal I've had in recent history. I'm excited to go back!“
“Beers in ice chilled glasses! Highlight of the night sharing some large bottles of Asahi. We had a great meal consisting of the basics; an omakase sashimi set, that included two lightly grilled options that were particularly delicious. The mixed tempura was so satisfying, and we had the beef teriyaki on a hot plate with some miso and rice to finish. We eat a lot of sushi and were blown away to have such a nice meal before our movie. We will definitely come back.“
“I recently visited Sushi Karis craving vegan sushi with avocado, and I'm so glad I did! Their vegan sushi was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. We also tried the gyoza with sauce, and the sauce was incredibly unique and tasty, adding a delightful twist to the dish. However, the noodles, which came on a sizzler plate, were just okay. Overall, I highly recommend Sushi Karis for their excellent vegan sushi and unique flavors!“
“A fan of Togo Sushi Sashimi... Tried out their new menu - Korean Chirashi Donburi. The sashimi was fresh and the amount was very generous. I loved the way the spicy & sweet sauce blended well with the sashimi and the rice. Please make this menu permanent“
“Service was very friendly and extremely fast - my wife and I were doing some errands nearby and had to grab a quick bite before leaving, and our ramen arrived within five minutes after placing the order. The taste of our ramen was decent, not great. As others have pointed out, the soup base appears to be on the blend side. The spicier soup base tasted better, but that probably is more of a personal taste. The meat was fresh and tender; the noodles were not the best quality but were all right.Price was reasonable enough - again, decent, but not great.“
“Very quaint sushi restaurant in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The interior was very quaint and the staff were very nice. The kake udon broth was especially good, and I liked the amount of salmon provided for the two pieces of salmon nigiri that I ordered. The atmosphere is very nice, and I enjoyed the soft piano jazz that was playing in the background. Hidden gem for sure.“
“This restaurant is clean, casual, family friendly with excellent sushi. The fish is noticeably fresh and the portions are great. The Nigiri sushi fish slabs are approximately 3 inches long. They go for quality with reasonable pricing. I'm hungry just thinking about this.Parking: This is a strip mall so there is a reasonable amount of parking“
“Love to go there with my family on a rainy cold days. They serve water and hot soup. They have very delicious Kim bab. I always order the rice dishes. My husband gets the dumplings and rice cake soup. All of their food is very delicious! The owner is very nice and friendly.“
“Best sushi around this neighborhood, can rival any downtown locations. Never had a bad cut of fish in their sushi, ( hard chew), their selection of drinks, and specialty menu is always available. ( at least when I was there) . It’s a nice blend between homemade and restaurant quality! If you buy chefs beers, they will treat you with off menu snacks. ( sometimes) ?“
“I recently heard rave reviews about Fat Tuna Sushi, so I decided to check it out myself. And wow, it exceeded all expectations! The ambiance was delightful, with such a welcoming atmosphere created by the owner and staff. But let's talk about the food – absolutely divine! As a sushi and udon enthusiast, I've never experienced rolls as generously sized and delicious as theirs. And the udon? It was so flavorful and comforting that I forgot to snap a picture before devouring it. That's how good it was!Normally, I'm not a big fan of tempura due to its greasiness, but theirs was a game-changer. It was so fresh and perfectly crispy, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're in the mood for an unforgettable culinary experience, Fat Tuna Sushi is the place to be!“
“We had a late lunch at around 2:30pm (still busy but no line up)…it took a while for the food to arrive but they were worth the wait!!!We had deep fried sole (2 big ones in one dish)….crispy but not too salty! Perfect to go with beer! Served with steamy pot of rice and miso soup. (Leftover fish took home for dinner and still tasted crispy….surprise!)Had also the pork back bone soup served with a pot of rice on the side. Soup was very heartening with 5 pieces of pork!A very wonderful meal. Very friendly service. Will return for other dishes too!“
“We live a bit of a drive from Mega, so we hadn’t ordered from them in a while, until tonight. First, their online ordering system is actually easy and it works. Wow! Not what we experience elsewhere. Second, we had forgotten how good the food is! Another WOW! We will change our habit and drive a little further to enjoy this food! Well done! Thanks!“
“I had a great experience at Sushi U+.to continue my Chirashi taste trip, I will make this location review.Find below the Chirashi presentation, rice is well seasoned and little hit of furikake style of seasoning.Fish selection is good.. and wasabi... omg their wasabi..I am quite used with wasabi, eat quite large portions.. but for this place.. it waa challenging to eat the whole portion.. if I need some fix in my nostrils, this is the place I will go for sure.thanks for the great service! and they also give some caramel candy with the bill.. nice touch.Parking: inside a plaza lot“
“I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always fresh, always delicious and the portions are great! Highly recommend the spicy tuna sashimi, I get it everytime, but never take a photo cause I can’t wait to eat it!Also, Susie the waitress is the sweetest! :)“
“First time tried this restaurant. It owned by Japanese. The sushi and sashimi are very tasty and fresh. Sashimi cut in large pieces, it's very attempting. Staffs are friendly, they refilled our tea frequently without asking. Definitely will come back!“
“A true gem!! I got the sushi and sashimi dinner set, which came with ALL of the food pictured for only $23! I was stuffed and had leftovers for lunch the next day. The owners are super sweet and the food was both delicious and fresh. Can’t recommend this place enough. Lots of parking available in the plaza.“
