“well folks this is a gem, a bit reluctant to share this place, it's not very often anymore that a restaurant like this can be found on the lower mainland. the service was wonderful we actually felt welcomed by the staff and patron's. the variety of options for delicious food was great and really get large helpings. the prices are comparable to other eateries in the lower mainland. “
“We haven't had IHOP since the Abbotsford location shut down. We were seated quickly and the service was quick and professional. I ordered the Calerado omelette with a side of pancakes. Daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was devine. The coffee tasted better than I remembered. We'll definitely have to go back.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu under 12 available“
“Nacho grilled cheese $17.45 includes potatoes OR salad. Pretty skimpy. Oh and no salads anymore. $2 extra if you have only the fruit with it. $3.50 extra if you then add potatoes (fries). $3.50 extra for hollandaise (cuz no gravy avail.) $3.50 extra for the coffee. (seriously?) $17.45 meal becomes $30 when it's an actual fully-formed meal.“
“My family has a lot of food allergies and the staff had great knowledge on what would work for each of us. We had the fish and chips, and loved that there were several fish choices. The fish and fries were great! They even had a gluten free beer for me. ( no gluten free fish and chips ). My wife had an Indian dish that was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, allergy to eggs, nuts, sesame and dairy“
“Gr8 classic diner style fare. Comfort food as it was meant to be.Simple fresh, made to order and satisfying. No surprises, just reliable cost effective fuel of yesteryear and it grandeur. We were warmly served by an Angel of a gal whom possessed such a genuine eagerness to get ur order, get it right and in a timely yet cordial manner. Rare these days that some truly dig their gig, I admire that passion and commitment.Who doesn't wanna b fed, treated like a valued guest and fueled up for what's up next right?U should go.Appy Trails,BrianmFoodieatlarge OU812on google maps.foodieatlarge.yelp.caParking: Where is the handicap parking?!Kid-friendliness: Toddlers should NOT be allowed to run around in main foyer and main desk /entrance.A toddler got near trodden upon by a mobility challenged person in the waiting area.Mgmt/host needs 2 b cognizant of the patrons safety and respond accordingly.“

“Simply put, PLEASE NEVER CLOSE YOUR DOORS!! You took me back in time… absolutely loved the staff, I think your waitress/server is a walking miracle for eloquently dealing with all her customers so kindly . Food is old fashioned home style food. Loved this and I’m a first time patron, but they will definitely see me again!! ❤️?“

“This is a gem of a place in Walnut Grove. More people need to know about it. Walking in you’re met with a genuine welcome and it’s very quaint and hospitable. The food was amazing and the selection is vast and we can’t wait to go back. I expect we will be regulars.“
