“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“

“Since we don't have any of these restaurants on Vancouver Island anymore, I encouraged my wife to come here for breakfast before we leave the mainland. She knows how much I love pannekoeken due to my Dutch heritage. The meals were just fine as we stuck to traditional pannekoeken, so no fault there. Lost a mark for service since the server came by to ask if we wanted a refill on our coffee, but I wasn't ready just yet. The server didn't come by again, so $4 for a single cup of coffee is a little ridiculous. The server did return to the table next to us to offer a refill, but didn't bother asking us.“

“After I discovered Aiden's on Broadway searched out their Hastings location where I can try the Three Cups Chicken. It is located in the lobby of a large office building. The lobby is spacious and pleasant in the winter, but the noon time sun can be quite hot in the summer which makes it impossible to enjoy a comfortable lunch. I like their tofu bowl and the Three Cups Chicken bowl. Both come with a healthy portion of broccoli. I had to ask for no chilli though because those are crazy spicy hot. I like the tofu because they are not too fried. The chicken is not as consistent: tender two out of three times, and hard/old the third time. This location either sell out of baked goods really early or doesn't carry as wide a variety as Broadway. Most of the time, the Ube loaf was not available.“

I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito bowl and man was it ever delicious! The chipotle sauce that was drizzled overtop was just amazing and I would buy a bottle of it if I could! It was a large portion and worth every penny! Their wait staff are all very cheerful and friendly! One of my favourite places to go in the Westend!“

They had some Dutch dishes, like a dutch pancake and the farmers omelet. The food came out quickly as well.

“This was the second best food I’ve ever tasted after my mother’s cooking. The waffles were so fresh and soft, the mozzarella sticks were so cheesy, everything was fresh! Even their omelettes! (which is rare in other restaurants) our server Naomi was sooooo kind! And so are the other servers. It’s a nice atmosphere, amazing service, and the food was amazing. Overall, infinity/10“
