“Don’t let looks deceive you; this little dive is a fabulous sports bar. Multiple big screen TVs, the food is actually delicious (try the cordon bleu sandwich, the coconut shrimp and the fried pickles). The new manager left at around 8:00 (it was super slow) and then picked up again around 9:00. The bartender Ella was on-point thereafter. My drink was never empty, and she was prompt with delivering my food. Should I ever be in Edmonds again, I’ll stop at this little, excellent pub!“

“Lovely vinyl bar that actually SPINS VINYL!!!!!!! Love their selection of wine / cider / beer with plenty options available from tap. We were just coming from Copine next door so we didn't order any food but I bet their foods are just as tasty! I can't wait to come back for drinks and munchies. The vibes inside are just right for enjoying music, boardgames/doodling with friends or just chatting. They have beautiful garage windows that open up as a patio space where doggos are welcome to hangout as well. I personally LOVED their vinyl/fridge section and the color pencils / sketchbooks they had by the boardgames. It was a serendipitous moment to have found this bar while walking around.“

Monkey Pub Bar • $
5305 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle - 10.34 miles

“There was a small group of us who'd gone in for trivia night. It's a funky little place with a scattering of tables in the front, pool tables towards the back (which are irrelevant for trivia night, of course), and benches on either side of the pool tables. Fortunately, we'd gotten there early enough to secure a nice table that fit all 6 of us comfortably.Reasonable selection of draught beers and a full bar. I got the Jellyfish IPA, which I hadn't had before. It's a local west coast-style IPA that was pretty good. I covered some of my friends' drinks across the evening (we traded off throughout the evening), and when I got the final bill at the end of the night, the bill seemed outrageously low. I felt bad, so I padded the bill with a good tip. FYI, the folks working behind the bar were so nice! They remembered me each time I went up to the counter and addressed me by name. It was a nice touch.Trivia night was so much fun! Our team didn't do exceptionally well, but we're going to have to come back and try again!“

We came in around 10PM and she was so kind, attentive, and personable. All the cocktails were amazing, and I can see from the way she and the other bartender (whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately) were both amazing with service, skill, and professionalism. There was also a sense of friendliness and although the bar was slow when we were there (about 6ish people?), there was still a really lovely atmosphere fostered by the two working in how they engaged with customers and made sure everyone was taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough. Also I’m so sorry if I got the name wrong, I was busy salivating over the amazing drinks she made.“

“I've been coming to Fiddler's since before I'd even moved to Seattle, nearly 20 years ago. In fact, it was one of the criteria that I used to pick the house I ultimately purchased (that my abode would have a pub within walking distance). It's a funky place, having been in constant use as a pub since 1934. The acoustics are terrible when there are a lot of folks in the pub or a band playing. And the clients varies from the crusty old-timers who've been coming in for decades opposite the millennial crowd who've moved in locally and have adopted it as their neighborhood pub. Still, I love the place, and although it's not as frequent a haunt for me as it once was, I still enjoy the occasional visit. This afternoon, my girlfriend and I met my parents for a some brews and food. There is no longer table service; clients need to go to the counter to order beer and food. We ordered a round of beers--they have 10 rotating taps, often with beer from the PNW--and food. Since it was mid-afternoon and we were already reasonably full from lunch, my girlfriend and I opted for the Firehouse nachos for the table (the Firehouse nachos have been on the menu at Fiddlers as long as I can remember). They were yummy, as always, and a great complement to our beers. My dad ordered the SCBLT (Smoked Chicken BLT), one of his favorites, and my mom the Big Papa Baked Potato, which she almost always orders. We all really enjoyed the food. There was a miscommunication with our order, and the server brought the meal of the day, the Beef Stroganoff Baked Potato, instead of the Big Papa as my mom had wanted. My mom really didn't want the special. The waiter was accommodating and made sure my mom had the correct order. All interchanges were pleasant, as has always been the case at the Fiddler. Hoping to continue being a regular patron at Fiddler's for the next 20 years!“

“Great dining experience. Service was not super fast but was on par with “European Style”, they don’t rush you and want you to enjoy your food. The servers were friendly and helpful. Beer selection is solid, including a nice selection of drafts. Had the Jägerschnitzel and the Käsespätzle with the mushroom gravy. Both dishes were very good and for a German restaurant in the US, I’d place them pretty highly. They’re changing up their weekend dining to accommodate a brunch, if you show up between 1pm and 3pm, there is no real food available, only French fries or pretzels, as the kitchen is changing over. I lived in Germany for four years, I consider this a good find and will be coming back.“

“We've eaten at the Savage Moose twice now, and each time we have really enjoyed the experience because of the great service and mostly because of the food. This time I had the fish and chips (hand battered cod, and lightly battered french fries) and my sister had the bacon cheese burger with potato salad. On our previous visit we had the poutine (this could use some extra cheese curds, to be honest), and got a club sandwich and a philly dip sandwich to go (I have to say the food is MUCH better eaten in-house). One of the outstanding things about their menu is its real house-made foods, made to order, using fresh real ingredients. The Savage Moose isn't much to look at from the outside, and the seating isn't luxurious or fabulous, but the food is honestly really good. “Alive with friends, it is a quintessential local watering hole. The food is okay, but a few tweaks could help it. For example the hamburger comes on a roll that is too big, usually dry, hard, and simply doesn't add to the experience, no matter how much care goes into the patty. In general the menu is tired and doesn't get much attention, even though it is a big part of the ale house. There is a new place going in across the street, related to Ridgewood by the Red Mill Burger joint. Competition is welcome and needed, but I feel the pricing at the new place will be high, like Ridgewood, and the regular Ale House crowd will stay put. The Ale House clientele seems to be in the 50s. I like it in general, now lean more on the tap beers and eat before coming in.“

I’ve been here many times and never thought about joining them for food and happy hour. It’s so cheap for their daily specials and the burger was delicious. You couldn’t go wrong with it and their secret sauce was delish. They have a huge outdoor area and you can even bring your pup (which I did). Nice spot for an outdoor area to enjoy HH drinks and the sun. The inside is quite large too and I’ve been there to watch sporting events and it’s a fun atmosphere. Check out their daily specials, wing night on Mondays for $.75 per wing, Tuesday $8 burger and fries, Wednesday $8 Toasty which is cheese sandwich and tomato soup, Thursday $10 Aussie Parma or schnitzel. It’s all sounds like a good deal! I’ll be back for other items on their HH list. The waiter was nice too! No complaints and it wasn’t busy on a Tuesday afternoon at 4. “This place looks like a hole in the wall until you walk in the door and it opens up Into a beautifully done bar top with booths along the wall. The staff us amazing! Ali, Alex, and Kawaii are the bartenders and all three of them are amazingly attentive. The food is great. The drinks are phenomenal. Easily my favorite bar in all of Lynnwood.I met my wife here!“

“I feel like it needs to be said that the bar is under new ownership as of last year. Bobby has done a great job giving it a bit of a face lift, including refelting the pool tables. They offer some bites, but keep in mind it's pub food and not a Michelin star restaurant. We went for St. Patty's day and they had a phenomenal corn beef & cabbage. They are now open on Sundays for football and offer 1/2 off or free (can't remember but discounted) pool games. It's a dive bar, so keep your expectations in line, but it's a fun neighborhood spot with great staff and stiff drinks!“

“I held a surprise casino party for my husband here and it went great! Dominique was really helpful in the arrangements and our server during the party was attentive. We appreciated that they did all the clean up, too. The food I selected was well prepared, with guests especially loving the pork belly and pizza. Would definitely recommend and use this venue again.“

“This is been a long time stable for me. Always had a great time. They've always had the same staff, which tells you something about the way the place is managed. Lately I only show up for half-price one night on Wednesday. You can get an order of wings for about $7.50 cents. They are awesome give it a try.“

“I was vague with the drinks I wanted lolI asked for things like "strong" and "fruity" and then asked for an espresso martini when they didn't really have the stuff for it, but the bartender made it with what they had and both drinks were awesome!?!?!!! Don't know how they did it but it suited my tastes perfectly, service is awesome, and atmosphere is comfortable. Will be ordering food to try next :)Highly reccomend, don't know who the recent reviews were talking about but my experience was great!!Parking: Free parking!!!“
