Cool place every thing I love outdoor fire pits. Kid friendly college football.
First trip, just beers but we still had a great experience. The space is awesome, the servers focused on the customer and appear to thoroughly enjoy being there.
Second trip today, same as above but we ate this time. While they were not busy the food prep and presentation was on brand. Smoke flavor was present but not overwhelming, it was a subtle compliment. The restaurant features a diverse drink selection, including a curated list of 20+ beers from all PNW breweries, with a focus on high-quality Hazy or NE IPAs, as well as ciders, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks like N/A root beer. The food menu includes delicious smoked meat sandwiches, with many options cooked in a food truck and delivered to tables, especially popular are the smoked options. The dining experience is enhanced by a refurbished dining room and a lively outdoor space. Guests appreciate the solid, tasty food, the exceptional drink selection, and the relaxed atmosphere ideal for playing games, watching sports, or hanging out with friends. Overall, The Barnyard continues to improve and remains one of the best places for good food, drinks, and friendly service on the south end of Whidbey Island.
