The curated beer selection (20+), from all PNW breweries is exceptional; best on the island. The employees are nice, inviting and knowledgeable. The food is good (we went RIGHT before closing) and I think the food would been tastier earlier in the day but I was still satisfied. I prefer Hazy or NE IPAs and they had 2-3 high quality offerings on tap. I really appreciated that. How welcome is this transition to the Barnyard in Freeland! Finally an establishment with a long food history on Whidbey, collaborating with neighbors, with a niche of smoked meat sandwiches with a refurbished dining room and still the best outdoor sipping and daily eating area on the south end! The owners of the well lived Braeburn have fully embraced and taken over this fabulous dog and family friendly spot and I think theywill be here for a long time to come…well done!!!
