Bainbridge Tacos Reviews
Food is great and plenty of it. Definitely and great find!
Tacos al pastor and carne asada were sooooo delicious!!! Taste just like CDMX! I was very surprised and impressed because it was legit!
best mexican on the island but still so much potential:
- get a shade to block the sun. impossible to eat here before the sun goes down
- serve beer
- fresh masa would have me here 3 times a week. PLEASE consider this for your tortillas
- torch the trompo more, and slice to order so it us crispier and hot
- get metal forks or larger plastic forks that aren’t so flimsy
not trying to criticize at all, just see so much potential here
also the people...read full review

Bainbridge Tacos is described as the best Mexican on the island with much potential. The restaurant is a taco joint with seating for one, friends, or family, not a sit down Mexican joint. The tacos al pastor are the highlight, and the chicken and carne asada tacos rock as well. The tortillas are super good. The restaurant is family-run and the owners are sincere, friendly, and giving it a good go. The staff are very friendly. The food is just like the authentic tacos from San Diego, and the portions are large and full of meat. The tacos are well seasoned and come with lime and 2 flavors of salsa. The Torta is authentic and the bread is crispy and fresh. The carne asada had some very tough pieces, and the chicken, al pastor, and carne asada tacos were all a bit dry. The vegan tacos were flavourless with 1 slice plain tofu and bell peppers. Suggestions include getting a shade to block the sun, serving beer, using fresh masa for the tortillas, torching the trompo more and slicing to order so it is crispier and hot, and getting metal forks or larger plastic forks that aren’t so flimsy. The customer service was really nice and they had free water. The restaurant is semi hidden behind the other main buildings in the road, and the food came out very quickly.
