“I am a snob for a particular type of donut: some call it the cinnamon roll, coffee roll, or Pershing. It's *not* a cinnamon bun, it's a delicious swirling glazed donut with cinnamon and a slightly crisp exterior and soft chewy interior. We ordered three types, a lemon filled, a raspberry filled, and apple fritters. All of them were wonderful, very fresh and soft, with tasty fillings and a good amount, as well. If you need smiles, small talk, and your ego stroked while you buy a $2 donut, go to Dunkin or some other corporate nonsense where people are literally forced to pretend they care about you. This isn't a complicated interaction, nor is it a high stakes purchase. Walk in. Pick your sht (which you can literally do by just pointing). Pay. Leave. Enjoy delicious donuts. Repeat. They've been here for almost 30 years. You've been here for almost 30 seconds. Get over yourself or get lost.“

Lately, I came to redeem a recent free dozen glazed donuts offer. The app wasn't letting me select a dozen glazed donuts to check out on my phone at this location - saying it was unavailable. As soon as I walked in and showed the offer to one of the workers, she knew about it. Luckily, they did have the glazed dozen available, but I don't know why the app was wrong. The cashier (different person) knew how to process the deal on my phone, which is a surprise because I've run into issues at other chain restaurants with phone/app deals where the cashiers don't know what to do or aren't familiar with the deals.“
