“The best donut experience! I heard about Doughjoy through a gluten free Seattle Facebook group and am so glad I did! The staff was so sweet and so friendly, the atmosphere is absolutely adorable and those donuts are so so cute! They are vegan too, which is great for people who have both gluten sensitivities and also dairy, which can be tough to accommodate both. They have the regular donuts in a little display area at the front, but they keep the gluten free ones behind so they stay away from the gluten ones. I got several of the GF for myself, and then a dozen of the regular to bring to my work and my coworkers were all obsessing over them! I loved the GF ones so much, they had a great variety of flavors and it was nice to see ones other than just your typical powdered or chocolate. The lemon was delicious!!!! I let the staff pick the dozen for my work, and they selected a perfect assortment, and even explained to me what they were so I could tell my coworkers. They also included a donut in the dozen that they said the proceeds were going towards a local black owned business. The owners are super active on socials and seem like such nice people. The staff seemed genuinely happy to work there! There is a little parking lot next to then Capitol Hill location, but also a few garages around as well. Thank you Doughjoy for bringing me some serious joy!Photo attached is of regular gluten donuts, the GF are a bit more plain looking :)Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“The best vegan donuts and the owners, Sean and Christopher, are so welcoming, friendly, and community-oriented! They constantly have unique rotating specials and the donuts are some of the best I've had. You can't even tell they are vegan! Some favorites are the jelly filled, maple bars, cookie butter filled, everything Bagel, and more! Highly recommend for fulfilling all your donuts cravings! Just get there early before they sell out of your favorites!Vegetarian options: All vegan!“
“It's my first time buying here. I am Venezuelan and I have wanted to try these donuts for a long time. I bought the one with guava cheese and 3 milks. Very rich! The only thing is that I didn't like the chocolate base on the 3 leches donut. But I did want to come back and try others on the menu. The hours are a little complicated but I was lucky enough to walk around the area early and visit the store :)“
“It’s the starting point of the underground donut tour. Donuts are decent, but the atmosphere is why I’d come back. There is plenty of sitting and a Teo story window. The mezzanine has a lot of people working.I was gonna add a picture of the donuts, but ate them already ?“
“Best donuts in all of Seattle. Great variety, reasonable cost, very kind staff, roll of the dice if the store is actually open but tbh still worth the roll. I know others including myself like to stalk around on days they're supposed to be open in hopes that they will open. Worth it.“
“This is the second time I've gotten 9th and Hennepin's donuts on a weekend morning and I can sense this quickly becoming a new weekend ritual! The donuts are creative and incredibly delicious, I'm looking forward to seeing what flavors are coming out every week (check the website of the same name) and they are served hot and fresh - truly a decadent experience. The service is also wonderful, always kind and friendly. If you're looking for a weekend morning treat, definitely check out this gem!!“
“I don't usually bother reviewing anything, but I had to drop a line on this one. These were possibly the best donuts I have ever had. overall, every donut we tried was fantastic. Crisp, soft, and just the right sweetness, and great flavor. And I would also mention the people here are really friendly, and the atmosphere is classic donut shop. highly recommended.“
“I just want to write a review because I have always big smile my face after visiting you? I always think donuts are breakfast like a bagels, NOT a desert, so that your donuts looks donuts for me. Also I like people working here. They are very cute and have good welcoming vibe.“
“I've been coming here a few times a week for a couple years now. Some of my favorite coffee on the hill and definitely my favorite selection of treats. They offer savory and sweet options which is a must for me. Any of their tropical flavored donuts are amazing but my favorite right now has to be their incredible mochi donuts(way better than the chain ones in my opinion). The employees are very sweet and make an effort to remember you if you come in regularly. Can't recommend it enough!“
“The owners are amazing! The best Doughnuts I’ve had to be honest, very lite and fluffy even a couple hours after being made! We live in lake city but will be back to this place when we’re out in the area and suggest everyone here to stop in and support a true gem in the area!Dietary restrictions: They made sure things are labeled if they were not vegan!“
“In a city with ever-rising prices, this place offers great donuts, sandwiches and Korean food at more then reasonable prices. People who work there are really friendly, especially the older guy. Also, one of the few spots in city limits that's open early for grab and go breakfast and not a pain to get to. They have premade breakfast sandwiches they'll warn up for you that don't cost an arm and a leg.“
“I personally crave mochi for more of the texture than the taste; however, when you pair mochi with doughnuts, there's an obvious exception... and Dochi doesn't disappoint. Conveniently located and staff is always nice. Can't go wrong.“
“The lady that opens is so nice. The food is a 10 out of 10 and we waited for them to open and got first pick and loved it. There so good and soft and loved the customer service and the oreo carrot cake fritter Friday todayVegetarian options: Vegan donuts“
“I got a whole cake for green tea tiramisu for my friend’s b-day. Everyone, including the birthday girl, really loved the cake! It was so good! People were asking where I got the cake ? I also added a message biscuit, which was $3.*You need to call the bakery to order a whole cake. (according to their website, they need at least 4 days’ notice.)“
“The apple fritter doughnut was light and airy, it was delicious and felt much healthier than the traditional apple fritters which are soaked with oil. In addition to classic flavors they also have fun flavors such as guava mochi and haupia malasada. To top it off the coffee is the cheapest I’ve found at $2.25! Great environment to hang out at as well.“
“Great selection of donuts. The staff was very friendly and filled up my kids water bottles for me. There is alot of available seating in a relatively small looking space, if you decide to eat in the location. There is not alot of parking, but since no one else was in, we found a space.“
“General Porpoise serves an amazing batch of upscale donuts and delicious coffee to match. This cafe is one of my favorites to visit on a trip to Seattle as they have a rotating set of seasonal flavors to try so you’ll always run into something new.The donuts are the lighter side and fluffy made of a brioche dough I believe. The fillings are all sourced from high quality ingredients. I tried one of each flavor on this trip but my favorites were the berry jam and the pistachio this time. Coffee wise they have a solid cold brew and other craft options. The inside is well decorated and the staff at this location were super friendly. They have a few other spots around town so definitely check it out!“
“This is a fantastic gem of a cafe! Very kind, fun, and eternally creative owners that really make you feel at home (even when you are unhoused). Love these people. Grab The Scott for one of the best Cortados in Seattle! Oh ya Comedy Saturdays @2pm stop by for the open mic! ?“
“I dont know how they make these donuts taste so good, I dont want to know, I just want to eat more of them. Best donuts ive ever eaten.!!!! Pro tip:- Just order the cinnamon sugar ones becuase then they give you the hot fresh made ones that are hands down the tastiest.“
“TLDR: small selection of crème filled doughnuts made not too oily!We got the three daily doughnuts (one chocolate one vanilla and one lemon) and they did not disappoint! The chocolate had chocolate shavings on the outside where the crème was put in, the vanilla was flavorful but not too sweet and the lemon had a strong tart flavor that my gf loved! Come and get your hands on some doughnuts!“
“I walked in the rain to Top Pot to buy 3x dozen donuts for my office. They have eliminated carry bags for donuts so only people with cars can buy dozens now. I settled for just a donut and coffee for myself. Good coffee and donut, but they saved $0.20 to lose $70 in sales. Go figure.“
“Unique donuts with a great texture and flavor. The Vietnamese coffee was my favorite! I love that they aren’t overly sweet like a normal donut. I wanted to try a dessert that I couldn’t get at home while we were visiting Seattle, and this definitely hit the spot.“
“Definitely a fun experience seeing the robots make your coffee! They have good quality coffee at a fair price If you love consistency in your coffee this is definitely the spot for you! And did i mention that robots make boba and latte art too?“
“Great variety, and great staff! A must-visit if you like doughnuts! Not as crazy as Doughnut Plant in NYC, or Voodoo Doughnut, but still just as good! Due to my short visit, I wasn't able to try the other good flavors, but I look forward to trying more the next time I'm in Seattle!Wheelchair accessibility: This location is on the second level. I don't know if there's an elevator, but I took the stairs up.“
“Bethany is always super helpful and remembers my order!! I feel like they should have another person working at this location or pay her more because of how busy it can get. The donuts are yummy and I like the mini chocolate option they had seasonally!Vegetarian options: All of the donuts are Vegan:)Kid-friendliness: It’s a smaller space.“
“Immersive robotic coffee crafting at this unique spot adds a futuristic touch to the experience. The ambiance, including games, ping pong table, creates a lively atmosphere. A solid four stars for the overall memorable experience and vibrant setting.“
“Like the other locations, they have great cake donuts. I especially liked the ambiance of this location and how the side wall opens up to the sidewalk for nice flow. We visited during their Tour de Donut bike event, and our dog was super excited because they gave him his own mini donut.“
“The staff there was super friendly! The donuts were quite good. I tried two donuts, one of each of the cake-based and yeast-based ones. The yeast-based one was ok, Top Pot has better yeast-based ones than them, since theirs does not have much gluten (and I am a huge gluten fan). The cake-based one was pretty good though!“
“I had no clue I'd placed an order after hours but the worker was an absolute champ, fulfilling it quickly. I thanked him profusely and I want to absolutely shout out his kindness. I'd have happily just cancelled and returned at opening, but he really did go above and beyond with his service.“
“this place is amazing. the staff really go above and beyond to make sure that the customer has a fantastic experience. i was definitely not coerced into writing this amazing review, but i must say that this place is amazing. i had the most amazing sandwich and latte. did i mention that i had an amazing experience at this amazing place? no? well... to be quite frank, (and brief for that matter) this place is amazing.“
“Whoever was working at the Queen Ann location on Sunday, February 18th is the absolute best! I forgot my credit card at home and she was so understanding. She offered to let me leave and call back to give my card info, but I knew I had a photo in my phone. She was so patient as I very slowly found the photo from deep in the photo archive. ? She also gave me a free donut hole. I’m so grateful for the kindness I experienced today. Also… the celebration donut is the BEST donut I’ve ever tasted. Seriously… if you like donuts with sprinkles and/or custard filled donuts, run don’t walk to get one before they’re gone. I’ll be getting another one soon!“
“What a gem of a place! Completely a great treat! All vegan donuts, so fresh. We went in at closing time. The lady was so friendly, even at closing time. I loved the coffee bomb donuts! What a treat . My Son took me here. So close to Silver cloud hotel too!“
“Today I was having a rough, rough day. All I wanted was a donut (or two). I got two Top Pot donuts and my day is already getting better. The lovely lady working behind the counter was so sweet and kind. But every person that has helped me at this location has been kind. This store is always clean and welcoming. And of course delicious donuts!!!!!“
“Nice service, super friendly, how good, it feels to be received with a smile from ear to ear. - The chocolate bar was delicious yummy. the chocolate bar with coffee or a perfect combination. I'm visiting Seattle , before I go , I must come back to TOp DOuhnust.“
“Mighty-O makes great cake donuts. The nutty french toast is my favorite, but they're all good, and they have some fun seasonal flavors. They are dog-friendly, which we appreciate. The soy and oat milk lattes are great. We and our dog enjoyed their Tour de Donut bike event in May. Parking at the Ballard location can be tricky at times.“
“Nice staff. This shop specializes in filled donuts so if you’re not a fan of them, you won’t like the options here.I tried the vanilla custard and jam filled donut. I preferred the custard because it felt like the jam filled donut had seeds in it which felt a bit odd on my teeth. But the flavor of both donuts were good!“
“When you see a place that's open 3 days a week for 2 hours per day, you have to be intrigued.Came here on a Thursday and got in line at 8:30am. Sat in a camping chair in the cold patiently waiting for some malasadas.Definitely worth it. I got one of each (lemon curd, strawberry, tiramisu, and chocolate hazelnut - listed in personal preference) with a brownie on the side. To go with my fresh doughnuts, I also ordered an oat-chata.Doughnuts were fresh and enjoyed on the spot. The oat-chata was fantastic and I would go back there just for another one. The brownie was a brownie, but figured I'd give it a try given the wait.Good vibes with the interior. Lovely staff. Would come back here again to sit in a chair to wait for a fresh doughnut.Dietary restrictions: No peanut products detected“
