“One of the best bakeries in Seattle. The pastries consistently look and taste great. The vanilla pastry cream in the eclairs is very good. The danish has the perfect flakiness and texture. Have also tried the pumpkin tea cake which was flavourful and the perfect texture. Long lines but it moves fast due to the quick service. We usually skip the coffee and have only tried the plain lattes.“

“My kids and I were running an errand and thank goodness we had some time to spare and were able to stop by Alexandra‘s. These macaroons are amazing! We got half a dozen, each one, a different flavor, and I couldn’t find one. I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. I honestly will go out of my way just to be in the area so we have an excuse go back. 10/10“

“I love the baked goods here. But I really wanted to say thank you again to Owen, she went above and beyond this morning when I was followed out of the coffee shop to make sure I was safe and get me help. I really appreciated her attentiveness to the energy in the room. She also made me a new coffee when mine got spilled which helped ease a stressful morning. Thank you for looking out for me.“

“I have to stop here every time I fly into SeaTac airport. They have the best tasting macaroons I've ever had and not too bad on the prices. Variety of flavors as well. They do offer seasonal type flavors so make sure to ask what they what flavors those are. Unfortunately, they are only located near Seattle. And I live in California which is pretty sad but I think they do have a website where you can get them ordered. We need to double check on that. The lady that always helps me out is super nice and very pleasant to talk to. I go back next month, so I'm definitely going to get a few flavors to take home.“

“The best thing that can happen in life is when you unexpectedly bumped into a French bakery and the food was SO good! I was immediately cheered up by the delicate and exquisite cakes offered by La Parisienne during a cold and cloudy day in Seattle. It is definitely not cheap ($9.75 for the Tarte au Chocolat) but I felt so worth it because it took so much skills and dedication to make such great desserts! Everyone working there were super friendly and actually some of them are French. We sat by the window and it was a very relaxing and tasty experience.“

“Super cute, funky little spot for sweets and coffee. We got a 10-pack to try a good selection of flavors and none were disappointing. Note that the consistency of the filling varied from one to another depending on flavor. Toffee, for example, was gooey and sticky because that's what toffee is. Most were light and fluffy like classic macaroons. All were delicious. We'll be back.“

Trophy Cupcakes & Party - Queen Anne Hill Dessert • $
223 W Galer St suite a, Seattle

“I placed an order for a surprise party for my boss at work. She loves unicorns and has been really in need of knowing how much we value her, so some gorgeous birthday treats from trophy to share with the office seemed like the perfect little surprise. I ordered them to be delivered and trophy allows for you to choose a specific delivery window for an extra $35, so I chose 10am-12pm. Unfortunately noon passed and they did not arrive. Apparently whoever took my order did not confirm it, so even though i paid no order was placed internally" I was very upset and was short with the person I spoke with on the phone, but even through my rudeness they were so kind and ready to help. I have been in this kind of situation before and expected just an "oops nothing we can do" but their response could not have been further from this. Trophy dropped everything and got my order together and got it delivered by 230, just before my boss left for the day. I got unicorn cupcakes, the perfect party platter and the life of the party cupcake and it was all beautiful and not a speck out of place. I rarely leave reviews but I was so impressed with how this situation was handled. Any business run by humans will make mistakes, but what matters in my eyes is how mistakes are handled and this was absolutely handled just as beautifully as the delightful birthday treats I ordered. Your care for customers and the understanding that your products are centered on days that are special for people truly means a lot to me and we will be ordering for office birthdays in the future 110%“

Crumble & Flake Pâtisserie Bakery • $$
1500 E Olive Wy, Seattle

“I stopped by here around 10am on Friday and a lot of pastries were already sold out (or they were working on a new batch, not sure). I got 3 pastries for around $18, which was slightly pricey since the pastries were a bit small, but it's still within reason. The cream puff was so good: crispy exterior, creamy interior with milky cream. But my favorite was definitely the passion fruit pound cake with lychee matcha glaze. The pound cake was cakey and paired amazingly with the fruity glaze. I've never had a lychee glaze before so I really liked this cake. I also got the lemon pistachio gateau basque which was flaky, lemony, and had a hint of pistachio, but was a bit flavorless and hard to finish for me. All in all, I like the variety of pastries they had and would definitely come back to try more!“
