The chocolate cake is so delicious...and available by the slice. My usual purchase is a slice of leek and gruyere quiche, or quiche Lorraine, but you need to get to the bakery early as the quiches sell out quickly. The hot coffee mocha is mighty fine, too.
Best chocolate cake I have ever had in my LIFE!!
I accidentally stumbled onto this bakery this morning while I was in Ballard. Oh my god, this place is absolutely to die for. I am always on the search for the perfect Kouign-Amann, and today I found it. I've tried them all over Seattle, and the one here is the best I've EVER had! My husband got the Almond Croissant, and it was also the best I've tried. My son had the Ham & Cheese croissant, and it it also amazing. Coffee was great too! Rosellini's Fine Cakes & Baked Goods is a neighborhood bakery known for its delicious cakes and pastries. The chocolate cake with espresso buttercream is especially popular and praised for its fresh taste and use of real ingredients. Customers often mention the espresso frosting as drool-worthy, and placing whole cake orders is easy. The bakery offers great breads, croissants, and fruit danishes that taste fresh out of the oven, which is always a good sign. The shop has a modern and clean atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff, making visitors feel like they are visiting a favorite aunt. The variety of specials keeps things interesting; for example, a recent addition was a chocolate hazelnut crunch bar that was delicious. The best americano, morning bun, and cinnamon roll (without raisins) are frequently recommended. The coffee is always great, and the service is consistently good. Some customers appreciate that the bakery is kid-friendly and a great place to find something special that’s hard to get elsewhere. Parking can be limited due to its residential location, but many find the desserts and baked goods worth the wait. Overall, Rosellini’s is considered one of the best bakeries in town, with a dedicated following that sometimes becomes addicted to their treats.
