“If you want a hole in the wall experience this is truly the place to go. You aren't overwhelmed by the amount of menu items, which is great because you have the best options to chooses from. The spices and ingredients was a new taste that I've been missing. I know it can be intimidating going to a new place, but the workers here are so nice and can help you find the right dish for you. The quantity is quite large, so there's plenty to share or bring home for leftovers. Don't forget to order their popular tea. I got to see how they made it and the amount of work to make it is insane! This is my new cozy drink. I'm looking forward to coming back to try their other dishes.“

“Wholesale bakery makes the best garlic crostini ever! We crush them up as bread crumbs and top whitefish with them. We also put them in our salada and use them as intended and top with bruschetta! So good. Wish we knew what else they make and where to find it!“

“Honestly, all of the options I've had are great. I tend to avoid the spicier options, because those do have a good kick to them, but they were still tasty. The beef curry is my default and I get it every time, but I also really enjoy the coconut curry when it's available. I also got the sweet buns once and did not regret it at all. Go on a Tuesday for their customer appreciation day and get a bunch of them for half off - I eat them for lunch the next few days and while they aren't going to be crispy on the outside, they still reheat well in the microwave.“

There are usually a couple of employee who works there and they’re so busy - no one greets you.

The owner has a huge temper. There were times he refused to come out of the office and talk to customers Last I knew it's illegal to fire some one for diagnosed mental health issues. “Literally the best pan dulce in the Puget Sound region. From Tacoma to Bellingham, you will find no better pastries with better selection. I have tried everywhere. I dream about this place. The empanadas are especially good, perfect Mexican and Tex-Mex style and they have all the RIGHT flavors- calabaza (pumpkin), manzana, piña, cream. Every concha flavor you could want, gingerbread pigs, ojos, pan de muerte. They are also very nice and speak English and Spanish. I only wish there was a second location on the Eastside, maybe Bellevue or Issaquah.

A close second is Plaza Latina in Shoreline, but Pasteleria is much easier to park, bigger selection, not so crowded and much cleaner inside tbh. Thank you for nourishing all of Western Washington!“

“Crave Cookies is dangerously good. The caramel Reese’s cookie is my favorite 😋 rich, gooey, and unapologetically sweet. Honestly, all their cookies are very rich, so one goes a long way (or doesn’t, if you lack self-control like me 😅).

Big bonus points for the drive-through, which makes grabbing dessert way too easy. They also sell beverages 👀 but I do wish they sold coffee. A simple cup of coffee to balance out the sweetness would make this place absolutely perfect.

“This place is easily one of our favorite Vietnamese bakeries in Seattle. The bánh mì bread here is the best we’ve had in the city—light and airy on the inside, slightly chewy, and perfectly crispy on the outside, just like what you’d find in Vietnam. The fillings are solid and well-balanced, letting the bread really shine.

We also tried the pâté choux, a classic Vietnamese pastry, and honestly… it tasted even better than what we’ve had back in Vietnam. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made. Overall, this is a great spot, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more.“

However, I reheated in the oven and they were tasty.“

If I had to make one suggestion to make this experience even better, I love it when a coffee shop gives me a free drip coffee when I buy a pound of coffee. If they added that policy, my coffee life there would be thoroughly complete and without regret. “Anything you get from here is going to be absolutely delicious. Salsa, chips, cornbread (now my girlfriend’s favorite weekend breakfast) and of course the tortillas.

They also carry a range of high quality Masienda products, which is awesome because shipping can be rough if you if you just want a bag or two of masa harina.“
