Embarrassingly, we’ve lived in the Central District for six years and had not yet tried Golden Wheat. This little family owned bakery has THE BEST egg and cheese croissant sandwiches! They can be ordered with bacon or ham for an additional protein option. Trust me, best breakfast sandos in Seattle, but if you aren’t in the mood for a croissant then give their breakfast burrito a try, also incredible!

LOVE this local spot. Everything is homemade and authentic. I come back for their delicious sourdough loafs once a week, their large cookies are amazing, and I love getting the chorizo breakfast burrito or breakfast croissant sandwich.
