50 Best Bubble Tea in Seattle

“I’m in absolute slurp heaven after eating Slurp Station Aburasoba!! Wow the flavors are incredible, full of umami goodness, and the noodles are springy and fresh. My husband and I shared the Tokyo Ganso Aburasoba and the Shoyu based beef Aburasoba - they are unlike any Japanese noodles we’ve had!

The Tokyo Ganso is a symphony of delicious ingredients all dancing to the same tasty beat. The Parmesan, the poached egg (which was perfect btw), the liquid base and vinegar make this lovely sauce that pairs beautifully with the diced pork chashu. The dish feels jumbo sized, the thicker noodles were so so good, and there’s plenty of chashu pieces. We loved it, it’s insanely unique, a must try!

The Shoyu based beef Aburasoba was also a knock out, slightly more delicate flavors but all working in harmony. The beef slices were super tender, they melted in my chopsticks. The soft boiled egg was still slightly runny yumm. The noodles were thinner than the Tokyo Aburasoba but just as fresh with a nice chew. I also highly recommend it, especially if you want a more classic style flavor.

We ordered to go and the service was wonderful. A very nice server and chef prepared our food quickly and with care, they have nicely branded chopsticks and even put cardboard at the bottom so our to go bowls stayed stable. The restaurant is clean and inviting, with nice background music. Plus they have free parking right in front!

Support local and check out this gem in the university district. Prices are very fair for this quality and authentic Japanese food. My husband and I were sooo happy, we’re foodies and have never had flavors like these!“

“I just discovered this place this month and have already been back a second time. Excellent sandwiches, and quite affordable for West Seattle ($10 per sandwich with no additions). So far I've tried the pork, grilled chicken, and meat loaf bahn mi. All great. Will return!“

“Affordable, open late, and fast service. Out of the big variety of unique drinks, I got the avocado cheesy foam slush and it was delicious! I came into Gaga Tea at a busy time yet the worker Kyle worked efficiently and I got my drink quickly. Will definitely come back next time.“

“This is probably my favorite drink spot in Seattle. When it’s good, the purple rice is perfectly chewy and the yogurt has a wonderful creamy texture. We come here every couple weeks.

Minus one star because it feels like there is no quality control. Sometimes it’s icy like a slushie, other times it’s a regular yogurt drink. Sometimes the rice is in full, chewy grains. Other times it’s blended into the yogurt. The sweetness also varies a ton, despite us getting the lowest sugar level every time. Most recently, we got one that was too blended and strangely bitter to the point of being undrinkable. I think this is the first time I’ve ever directly thrown away a drink.“

“Got the green thai milk tea and the peach milk tea and both were amazing. Super fresh taste, easy to adjust sweetness to whatever you'd like, and the woman who helped us was super knowledgeable and friendly.
The setup is a bit odd as it is a shared building with other businesses but the people who work there are happy to assist you with finding what you're looking for.

“Haven’t been to this store for a while, and this time I came back and noticed so many new additions, like the new Fragrant Oolong Mango Coconut Frosty, Cosmic Apple Fragrant Oolong, and hot & cozy drinks. The Pragmata event also looks so cool!

I’ll definitely come back to try different flavors. The boba market is so competitive now, so it’s great to see it keep developing, expanding, and bringing in new ideas.“

“Went to this shop earlier this week. Location is super convenient located near all the shops in Capitol Hill. Space is very clean and welcoming. I got the raspberry mochi donut and vegan Thai tea. The mochi donut was really fresh and texture was nice. I got the Thai tea 75% sugar and it was perfect and the Thai tea flavor was nice. The girl working there was super friendly and helped me pick out a donut and tea. Would totally recommend!“

“My friend wanted to try fluffy pancakes. She picked this place. Overall I will give is 4/5. In ordered customized crepe with strawberry. This place does good job at food presentation. Crepe was just 3/5 because crepe and whipped cream were too plain. What saved it was strawberry and condensed milk. Fluffy pancakes were yummy. Be careful it will crumble when you first cut into it. You have to order first be seated yourself. They only have one table if you have a big party. Street parking, good luck. We came early so we able to order fluffy pancakes before it run out. Staffs were polite and friendly. The decorations were cute.“

“Best strawberry matcha in Seattle! They make a real strawberry puree in house. It tastes like real strawberries (because it is!) and is delicious! All of the drinks at Atulea are excellent and customizable. The baristas are all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The vibes are also good here. I love coming here for 1:1 meetings or just a cozy place to get some work done. Atulea is a staple in the Capitol Hill neighborhood and I look forward to supporting them for a long time to come!“

“Cute cafe with really nice staff! Ended up settling on the citrus osmanthus drink both times I’ve gone, which is really refreshing. Comes with fruit, jelly, and a sprig of rosemary on top. I like that you can adjust the ice and sweetness levels, it’s not overly sweet at full sweetness either. They let me sample the pandan too, it’s really sweet but really good! Also really enjoy that they give you a little buzzer to let you know when the drink is done.“

“I came here during a trip to Seattle with my friends and I got the Strawberry Seduction… Let me tell you I was THOROUGHLY seduced. I understand why it’s called Boba lust. I can see myself marrying that drink. Wife, kids, a mortgage, holding hands when we’re 90 dying next to each other in the same hospital room. Easily the best drink I’ve ever had. It made me float two feet up and two feet forward. I will be returning to this location.“

“The drinks (once you figure out how to order- it’s a horrible menu scheme they are using, I found it completely incomprehensible) a bit sterile in atmosphere tbh and in my visit today all the merch shelves were dusty, and the bar back area looked very disorganized- there are couple of bar height stools available, and you can drink and people watch a little. Drinks are served in a take away from branded GLASS jar w a metal lid, it’s kinda cute but ultimately burdensome and not environmentally friendly, lots of energy to produce and ship and ultimately this kind of glass isn’t really recycled so…. More volume and weight in the trash. But hey, the drinks are instagramably photogenic!“

The pricing is pretty reasonable too, it feels fair for the quality you get.The only downside is the parking situation around here. It can be really tricky to find a spot most of the time, which is a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it’s become one of my regular go to places whenever I’m craving fruit tea.“
