“Wow! This is first-class boba tea. Stopped by on a rainy day craving for something warm, I asked for a taro milk tea warm. It really hit the spot! I think the baristas can make most of the drinks warm even if not indicated on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the tapioca pearl... it had the perfect chewiness that you just want to keep chewing on it, not just two or three bites, but more like 10-15 bites. And the pearls are not tough at all... they just resist falling apart very well. What a wonderful place to overcome cold and rainy weather... “Visited Bamboo Restaurant on a quiet Tuesday afternoon ,not crowded, which gave the place a calm, almost unhurried atmosphere. Service was quick, and the food arrived without delay.

I ordered the #14 pho large. The broth leaned toward ginger and lime, with a light oil finish and a subtle hint of cinnamon, a nod to the traditional spice base. However, it lacked the depth and cohesion you’d expect from a properly slow-simmered pho.

Typically, spices like star anise, cloves, and cinnamon should come together in a balanced, layered way , here, they felt slightly disconnected.
The noodles were thin and cooked well, though fairly neutral in flavor. The meats were a strong point , well-seasoned and prepared correctly, adding needed substance to the bowl.

I also tried the chili oil (saté), and this is where things dropped a bit. It had a heavier, more generic profile — lacking the aromatic depth and freshness you’d expect from a well-crafted blend.

It felt closer to a pre-made, store-bought oil rather than something developed in-house, which took away from the overall experience.

The atmosphere was extremely quiet no music, minimal interaction which made the space feel slightly awkward rather than inviting. Small details were also missing, like basic table spices or salt.

That said, there’s a certain honesty to this place. It has a simple, home-style feel: casual, calm, and straightforward.

At around $20 per person, it sits in a range where a bit more refinement in both flavor and experience would elevate it significantly.

I was fully questioning the brothless ramen concept at first because… huh? But it works.

You order everything from your phone and they bring it to your table, which honestly is great if you don’t feel like interacting much. There are laminated instructions showing how to mix in the vinegar and chili oil, which actually makes a big difference.

Once everything comes together, it’s rich, flavorful, and super satisfying.

“MACU is a famous Taiwanese boba place and I am glad it has reached the Seattle area. One thing that makes this boba shop different from its competitors is that it has seasonal drinks. Their summer festival drinks, such as the King Mango Smoothie or Bobo Mango Smoothie, are extremely popular picks. They also have autumn drinks like the Chi Chi Grape Smoothie and Bobo Grape Smoothie. If you follow them on social media, they always give recommendations and updates for their seasonal menu. I highly recommend checking their page before going there.

The layout inside is also quite good. There is a lot of room for sitting and they even provide Jenga pieces which helps create a welcoming atmosphere to hang out with friends or to have a quiet space to study. The level of customization is also quite high. However, I would recommend ordering in person rather than through a screen because the screens can sometimes limit your options.

I went during the summer and chose items from the regular menu instead of the seasonal one. I picked the Chi Chi Golden Leaf Tea and the Honey Lemonade. The Golden Leaf Tea is almost premium. The flavor of the tea hits you well and it has a unique Oolong taste. It feels light but the flavor is quite strong even with minimal sugar. The Chi Chi topping was delicious, though I felt the portion was a bit small compared to what I am usually served. As for the Honey Lemonade, the balance between citrus and sweet mixed quite well and provided a refreshing aftertaste.

I personally feel that their fruit menu is much more appealing compared to their regular tea menu. I would definitely recommend trying the Chi Chi topping with the fruit smoothies, such as strawberry or matcha. Compared to other boba places, I can strongly say that their fruit and citrus menu is much fresher. Overall, I would say this place is worth it for the seasonal items. The regular menu does not stand out as much, but the drinks with fresh fruit are excellent compared to competitors.“

“I absolutely love Tealogy! Came here a few times with friends. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the staff are all very friendly and nice. What really impresses me is that many of their toppings and syrups are made in-house from scratch, which makes the drinks feel much healthier than those from many cheap, low-end bubble tea shops.

Most bubble tea places just use regular, ordinary tea leaves, but Tealogy actually uses Da Hong Pao (Red Robe Tea), a very high-quality and expensive tea that most bubble tea stores won’t even offer. You can really tell the owner loves and truly understands tea.

If you enjoy good, quality tea drinks, you really shouldn’t miss this place. Highly recommended!“

They recently added some more drinks to their menu. I tried the Premium Phoenix Oolong Milk Team and it was pretty rich and flavorful. Tasted like a roasted milk tea. My absolute favorite is still their 'Tradutional Milk Tea'.

2023: Excellent bubble waffles and bubble tea. Recommend the traditional tea over the original tea if you want a stronger flavor.

“This place was so epic if you love Thai Tea and UBE. It’s a small little spot that you walk up to order from a kiosk. They had SO many variations of Thai tea; floats, ice creams, desserts and other mixes. I was literally in heaven! I loved that I could choose a green Thai tea with Thai tea ice cream float. I placed my order and got it within minutes so they worked super fast! There is a small seating area outside and I could totally see this place getting very busy.
