My boba-snob friends love TP Tea -- they say the tea itself is very good quality. The location is also very convenient -- right across the street from the U District Link Station.However, as a lactose-intolerant person, unfortunately my options are very limited. Most of their drinks do not allow for non-dairy milk substitutions. Only their "latte" drinks and fruit teas don't use dairy. Unfortunately, I did not get to test out my usual order here as they do not offer jasmine tea. So I ordered the regular black milk tea (written as "pearl milk tea) on their menu.>the boba was very soft but also chewy>100% sweetener was not as sweet as I assumed it would be, but it is still sweet>the no ice option was nice as they still kept the drink cold as if there was still some iceoverall, not bad.

While I have been to the TP Tea in CID numerous times, this is my first visit to the UW location. At 7:18pm, I was soooo surprised to see it was completely empty except one customer. At the same time in the CID store would typically mean the line is out the door long! This only tells me the UW area is saturated with tea shops.
