“I can’t believe I’ve lived so close to this place and haven’t tried it until now because wow have I been missing out! The food is to die for. I ordered the savory (chicken and waffles) and devoured it before I could even take a picture. Everything was cooked to perfection, and was a great balance of sweet to spicy and so flavorful. What made it even more special is the owner who made the experience very personal throughout our service. Important to note it is a small place so you may end up having to wait for a table but, trust me, it’d be worth the wait.“

“My favorite coffee in all of Seattle. I like the mocha, the drip and the croissant breakfast sandwiches but everything I’ve had has been good.“

“My long overdue review comes down to 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ words: Best Taiyaki Comfort Food Ever‼️‼️💯🥰😋😍 Need I say more? . Taiyaki, a popular Japanese fish-shaped pastry, has an interesting history rooted in the Edo period's imagawayaki, a round pancake filled with sweet red bean paste. The modern version of taiyaki was invented in 1909 during the Meiji era by Seijirō Kanbei, who owned a sweets shop called Naniwaya in Tokyo . Seeking to create a unique twist on imagawayaki, he used a mold shaped like a sea bream (tai in Japanese), a fish symbolizing good fortune. The delightful combination of its distinctive shape and delicious taste quickly made taiyaki a favorite across Japan, often sold by street vendors and enjoyed at festivals . Over time, taiyaki evolved to include various fillings such as custard, chocolate, cheese, sweet potato, and even savory options, and in BeanFish case, MmmBacon 😍😋🥰, though the iconic fish shape remains. Today, taiyaki has spread globally, becoming a beloved treat in many countries and appreciated for its nostalgic charm and the enjoyable experience of biting into its crispy exterior to reveal a warm, sweet filling!!! 🍥🥮🫘“

“This little shop is absolutely fantastic! The drink buckets are incredibly cool. As a non-drinker, it’s great to discover such unique places that offer delicious and enjoyable beverages. We sipped on refreshing iced mango lemonade and iced chai teas to cool down, and they were exactly what we needed. 🫶🏼“

“I used to not go to happy lemon because I wasn't fond of the drinks, I went to the location in Bellevue I believe. But when I moved to this area , I thought to try it out again, I got the regular milk tea with pudding and taro balls. Really Good! They also had a strawberry cheesecake drink (something along those lines), super good! The inside of this location is really cute too! Happy Lemon went from one I never go to, to one I'd happily go to! Def come try their drinks.“

“Went to get boba after a long day. They’re located at a very nice area with beautiful views. The moment I stepped in, a sweet smell embraced me. I ordered Boba tea, the drink was decent, kinda expensive.
The reason why I rated a 5 star is because the staffs are the most chalant and friendliest than all other locations I went to. One of them is unintentionally funny, she reminded me of my cat. Overall I had a great experience, recommended for people that want a sweet snack, drink, or hanging out.“

Try the honey butter biscuit fried chicken sandwich, with some hot sauce, your soul will thank you. Much love to all of the staff there, y'all have saved my behind and fed my soul, more than I care to admit.“
