“I poked my head into Barrel and Bacon a few weeks ago to see if they’d be interested in donating a gift certificate to Magnolia’s Vino in the Village Reuse Raffle and the place was PACKED. I was left wondering want all the fuss was about? I saw “Cinnamon French Toast Crack Fries” and “Ube chicken & waffle” and knew I HAD to come back. The brunch is quite popular and it’s recommended you make a reservation. I concur. If you’re of drinking age, there was space at the bar and thats a good bet for brunch! The waiting lobby is chic and comfortable. When you catch a glimpse inside the restaurant the ambiance is nice. The food presentation is also exquisite. Everything seems to be piled high and looks delicious. My son and I were seated on the patio. Charming in its own right! While we waited for our food I got a bit of food whiplash as orders were delivered because - again - the presentation is notable. Our waitress was quite kind and helped me decide between 4 delectable dishes. The Ube French Toast won out and I was not disappointed! We waited about as long as you’d expect for our food…no complaints there. My son got the loaded tots. Oh my. Packed w flavor. The French toast was also quite good! Loved the ube cream cheese filling. Not too sweet for this sweet tooth! Great paired with coffee. The loaded tots offered a nice savory bacony balance! I noticed quite a few incredible looking cocktails. This trip I decided not to imbibe, but I will be returning and will try one of those! I can see myself visiting Barrel and Bacon at least four more times to try the other delectable menu items - and cocktails I wasn’t able to shovel into my face this time!

“We visited Local Bigger Burger yesterday and were thoroughly impressed. The availability of halal options made the meal even more enjoyable. We tried the sriracha burger, Smash, Bacon Cheddar, chicken wings, and jalapeño poppers—all packed with great flavor—and the fries were perfectly crisp. “Such an incredible new Chinese place for north Seattle! Every dish we had was amazing. Mongolian beef with crispy rice noodles--perfect flavor. The sweet and sour pork was like nothing we've had before, and the pot stickers are clearly made from scratch on site, they taste soooo fresh. Best of all, the chef had just whipped up a bath of popcorn chicken with this amazing sweet/spicy seasoning, and let us try it to give our opinion on the new recipe. So good! Very high quality food, made fresh, and incredibly reasonable prices. (Most entrees I saw are $9-12.) And the owners are exceptionally kind and professional. This will be our go to when we are in the neighborhood.“

I remember her talking about how she had to let some of her staff go during covid because of expense all while wearing a Gucci facemask and showing me pictures of the pool she was having added to her home in some other country and then proceeded to show me renovations she was doing on her home in NYC. My one complaint is that the fried pickles were not good. They’re a good price but the pickle slices are so thin that after frying they become hard and inedible. Charge $1 more and slice them thicker! Or switch to spears.“

“I reached out to Sully’s to host a surprise birthday party for my close friend and the experience was nothing short of incredible. The owner, Marcus, was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process even though he was away on a trip at the time. Once we arrived, Matty took over and was a total superstar. He constantly checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed and made sure the entire back patio was reserved just for our group.

A huge shoutout to Robert, our bartender. We had a constant stream of drink and food orders flying at him and he didn't miss a beat. He kept up with the pace perfectly and was a blast to chat with.

The staff let us stay right up until closing without a single complaint. We were in the back playing a rowdy game of charades and the team was so kind and patient about it.

As a bonus, it is hard to find a proper pour of Guinness in the Seattle area but they nail it here.

This was our first time at Sully’s and the team made it a night to remember. They are exceptional, friendly, and hilarious! We had the best time celebrating and we will definitely be back soon!“

“I was not expecting dominos from this location to blow my mind, but here I am. This location should be studied. That was the best restaurant-chain pizza I’ve ever had. You put that in a different box and people would NEVER have guessed dominoes. Wow. And the time and price and driver all made the experience even better but man that pizza was insane. Perfect execution. My order was 2/28 at like 9, that chef should get an award.“

“Went during the evening and was surprised to see that the chicken didnt taste like it was under a heat lamp all day, it tasted fresh and flavorful, prices were reasonable for Seattle area standards. The language barrier was a bit difficult and the area can get sketchy.“

“I am so glad that I finally try WingStop, I don’t know why they got low rating but both flavor of the wings I got were fabulous, cooked perfectly and I got the Cajun fried corn as my side, I could eat those all day! Really flavorful and sweet. Every staff in this branch were really helpful, always smiling and willing to help. Jayden was the one who helped me, very patience when I placed my order, as it was my first, it took me awhile to decide. To top it off, they kept the dining area, and the restrooms sparkly clean! “Despite their location and the parking lot challenges. This location is in my opinion is one of the best in the area. Order the chicken slider, nuggets, with fries and a drink w/ a side coleslaw and side mash n gravy. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and fresh. The only thing missing was me ordering an extra biscuit to mop up the mash n gravy but that was on me. The staff were all welcoming and polite. The dining room was fairly clean but it was the lunch rush.“
