“great wings. fried well done and not gummy, just how i like them. the sauces are very tasty and well put together. buffalo is tangy and vinegary like it should be. wet lemon pepper was delicious and a nice change from dry, although i do wish dry was also an option. the reaper sauce is actually very good. most reaper sauces are bitter and unpleasant just for the sake of spice, but that’s not the case here.

fries are thin like shoestring, but not quite as thin. not much to say there. they’re ok.

also tried the cauliflower and it was decent. nothing crazy but nice to have the option for those that don’t want chicken.

the one thing i wasn’t a fan of is the blue cheese. don’t get me wrong, blue cheese OR ranch go with wings hand in hand. i love them both. but here, it’s not a dip, it’s a spread. and it doesn’t go great with wings. while it tastes good, the consistency should be closer to a sauce than a spread. and the lack of ranch seems to be a weird choice, especially if the only dipping sauce you offer is blue cheese thicker than peanut butter.

for how busy it gets i expected some of the best wings i’d ever eat. it took multiple attempts to come here due to long waits. and while i don’t think it was worth all the effort, ill come back sometime when it’s easy to walk in.

lastly, i was a bit grossed out by the bunch of flies just inside the restaurant after you come through the propped open door.“

“You can’t go wrong with dining here. Great place to watch games, it’s family friendly, and most importantly, the food is really good. Their wings blow away Wing Dome, Buffalo Wile Wings and any other place claiming to have good wings. They also have more than just wings if that’s not your thing.“

“I poked my head into Barrel and Bacon a few weeks ago to see if they’d be interested in donating a gift certificate to Magnolia’s Vino in the Village Reuse Raffle and the place was PACKED. I was left wondering want all the fuss was about? I saw “Cinnamon French Toast Crack Fries” and “Ube chicken & waffle” and knew I HAD to come back. The brunch is quite popular and it’s recommended you make a reservation. I concur. If you’re of drinking age, there was space at the bar and thats a good bet for brunch! The waiting lobby is chic and comfortable. When you catch a glimpse inside the restaurant the ambiance is nice. The food presentation is also exquisite. Everything seems to be piled high and looks delicious. My son and I were seated on the patio. Charming in its own right! While we waited for our food I got a bit of food whiplash as orders were delivered because - again - the presentation is notable. Our waitress was quite kind and helped me decide between 4 delectable dishes. The Ube French Toast won out and I was not disappointed! We waited about as long as you’d expect for our food…no complaints there. My son got the loaded tots. Oh my. Packed w flavor. The French toast was also quite good! Loved the ube cream cheese filling. Not too sweet for this sweet tooth! Great paired with coffee. The loaded tots offered a nice savory bacony balance! I noticed quite a few incredible looking cocktails. This trip I decided not to imbibe, but I will be returning and will try one of those! I can see myself visiting Barrel and Bacon at least four more times to try the other delectable menu items - and cocktails I wasn’t able to shovel into my face this time!

“Such an incredible new Chinese place for north Seattle! Every dish we had was amazing. Mongolian beef with crispy rice noodles--perfect flavor. The sweet and sour pork was like nothing we've had before, and the pot stickers are clearly made from scratch on site, they taste soooo fresh. I was live streaming with a friend and someone called the restaurant to complain and the staff kindly asked us to stop and we did but they didn’t make us feel unwelcome and that was nice because most people will get really uptight and upset about that kind of stuff. “I reached out to Sully’s to host a surprise birthday party for my close friend and the experience was nothing short of incredible. The owner, Marcus, was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process even though he was away on a trip at the time. Once we arrived, Matty took over and was a total superstar. He constantly checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed and made sure the entire back patio was reserved just for our group.

A huge shoutout to Robert, our bartender. We had a constant stream of drink and food orders flying at him and he didn't miss a beat. He kept up with the pace perfectly and was a blast to chat with.

The staff let us stay right up until closing without a single complaint. We were in the back playing a rowdy game of charades and the team was so kind and patient about it.

As a bonus, it is hard to find a proper pour of Guinness in the Seattle area but they nail it here.

“I am so glad that I finally try WingStop, I don’t know why they got low rating but both flavor of the wings I got were fabulous, cooked perfectly and I got the Cajun fried corn as my side, I could eat those all day! Really flavorful and sweet. Every staff in this branch were really helpful, always smiling and willing to help. Jayden was the one who helped me, very patience when I placed my order, as it was my first, it took me awhile to decide. To top it off, they kept the dining area, and the restrooms sparkly clean! “Despite their location and the parking lot challenges. This location is in my opinion is one of the best in the area. Order the chicken slider, nuggets, with fries and a drink w/ a side coleslaw and side mash n gravy. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and fresh. The only thing missing was me ordering an extra biscuit to mop up the mash n gravy but that was on me. The staff were all welcoming and polite. The dining room was fairly clean but it was the lunch rush.“
