Some of the best soul food I've had this side of the Mississippi. Catfish was fresh & crisp, Mac n cheese had the right level of cheese and the red beans & rice bad some great seasoning. Bossman inside was kind as can be too.
Oh my goodness this food is so well seasoned. I could just eat the red beans and rice alone. This is the first time I’ve eaten here since the start of COVID. They have changed the inside from what I remember, it’s smaller. But, the food was great.
Great food, I liked the rib and bbq chicken.

Angel City Deli serves some of the best soul food this side of the Mississippi. The food is well seasoned, with catfish that is fresh & crisp, and Mac n cheese that has the right level of cheese. The red beans & rice has great seasoning, and the fried shrimp sandwich is delicious. Generous portions of everything, including a rib plate with mac and cheese and beans and rice. The owner and bossman inside are kind and friendly. The inside is smaller than before COVID. The restaurant has different specials throughout the week and is reasonably priced. Customers crave the ribs, greens & sweet potatoes.
