“I'm not really rating the food here. It's Jack in the box and fast food is what is it. But I have to commend the manager on duty when I walked in at around 2:30 pm 12/20. There was a "customer" demanding food from the menu for less than the price and then when he was told what price what he wanted would be, he literally threw the money at the shift lead. Threw it. I've worked in fast food for a decade, and I'm sure it's much different now than it was when I worked it, but the amount of patience this employee showed during this interaction, while being totally disrespected and talked down to,was AMAZING. I would not,could not have been as calm as he was . I am sure they've seen a lot at this location, but in a lot of places that makes employees even bolder at losing their tempers. This staff did great. I'm going back just for the employees.“
“Everyone that works here is 100% excellent. I'm really excited that the dining room is open finally! The place is ALWAYS clean, but is in serious need of a remodel. I dont want them to remodel though because I like being able to go inside“
“This location is always extremely clean inside and around the entire building. The food is as good as Jack in the Box. I recently visited the University location on 50th and it was super gross. Bathrooms were beyond filthy. I'd permanently close them until they drench it in the strongest cleaners and pressure wash it. It wasn't just a dirty bathroom but two feet by 6 feet maybe and the filthiest bathroom I have ever seen. The lady working the counter was nice and I told her it was not habitable to the public. She insisted it would be immediately addressed. I personally couldn't even eat my food after. Approaching my vehicle all I could see was a nasty drive thru, parking lot ECT. Overall if you have ever worked in any form of hospitality you would write this review warning people or the manager. Please visit the sodo location, every aspect of the place is awesome. Good food, clean everywhere and you can see their cooks and their cleanliness. Their menu seems really high but what else isn't these days. The area isn't ideal so I think working there they should be trained with more patience, communication skills and not be so quick to judge. I've heard them bad mouthing other customers thinking maybe I don't understand Spanish because I am from Scandinavia. “The employees make this a great place for meals. Albeit it's not in the best location because of the*day walkers* so I wouldn't bring children unless you're going through the drive through. Today's meal was outstanding. Kudos to the cook! Hot and fast, juicy and flavorful. Thanks for the greetings to us today...we frequently visit.“
“This location has a perplexing habit of asking drive through customers to drive around to the window on the other side of the building to pick up their order. This means you're either going through the wrong way and making a sharp turn in order to have the window on the driver's side, OR you go through the correct way but the window is on the passenger side of the car, making it hard to reach over.I did a bit of research and discovered that this is becoming more common at fast food restaurants because there is a sensor that detects how long a car has been waiting AT THE WINDOW. So employees are incentivized to game the sensor by directing the car to another location where they actually bring your food. This is a classic example of attempting to manage via metrics, which always leads to people optimizing for the metric (in this case, time spent at the window) instead of the ostensible goal of the metric (to improve customer satisfaction by ensuring wait times aren't too long).Parking: There are at least a dozen parking spots including two handicap spots which is a little weird for a store with no indoor seating and who's business seems to be dominated by drive-through and walk-up customers.“
“Okay I come from California and Jack in the Box is fairly big there. Once I moved here, I was skeptical because I was like hmm will they be the same quality. But I’ve been here twice and both times have been awesome and fresh!! The second time I went, my mans hooked me up with THREE cherries and he absolutely did not have to. And you know why? I was extra nice because we should all be kind to service workers. hint hint :)Friendly tip: if you want little interaction and room for zero “poor customer service”, consider ordering through the app. It’s faster, it’s easier on everyone, and sometimes even cheaper with codes/discounts they offer!Still love the customer service here though. “Everyone who works here deserves a tender smooch on the forehead. One of the only places open late at night which is a godsend for me and my horrid sleep schedule. I would fistfight a WWE fighter in the Denny's parking lot for the angels who work here.“
