“For the most part, I have had great experiences there. Yesterday morning, May 7th, was first unpleasant experience that I had. I have been going there since Feb. 2014. The food is decent for a cafeteria. My unpleasant experience was being served burnt hash browns by a female whose attitude seemed to be a little burnt. I was reluctant to decline them. I ate the portion that was not burnt.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair parking. There are elevators also.“
“McMahon. This is the dorm for a memorable freshman year experience. There are some things that come along with living in a dorm from 1965- the shower temperature varies, asbestos warnings are everywhere, random pipes run through the common room, silverfish appear, and there are urinals in the bathroom for a cluster of all girls!
The balcony is a huge plus, but it was closed for all of spring quarter, probably the time it would’ve gotten the most use, due to “exterior safety” concerns…. But the view is unmatched.
The 8, which used to be a dining hall, is now a study space open from 1pm-11pm. Such a nice space to enjoy some Norah Jones Panera in the 2000s aesthetic.
Having a common room with a couch, table, chairs is amazing for studying, movie nights, and just hanging out with friends.
The bedroom sizes are good, with a closet, lots of shelf space, desk, drawers, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get a room with a bunk bed…. Which was totally fine 😌👍
Most clusters are 4 doubles, so 8 ppl per cluster, which can give you some close friends, or closer enemies. But that’s life.
The coziest, most homey dorm you’re going to find at uw. When you’re walking to an 8:30, remember to enjoy the way the sun shines through the green trees in the front of McMahon. Will miss this place.“
“This cafeteria serves students and surrounding staff in surrounding Health Sciences employees on the University of WA campus. There is an espresso stand among the standard fare for a school cafeteria. Healthy options include a salad bar. Haven't tried their wraps yet. It is a good walk from the medical center. Only open from 7:30am to 3pm Monday-Friday.“
“Wonderful view and great food! Nice cocktails! When you come to this town, you must stop. Bring a hat when you come in the afternoon because the sun is strong. I recommend that you enjoy the sunset and night views around 3 p.m. Our server was very careful and gave us plenty of ideas to enjoy our rest. Next time I would return!“

“Brand new cafeteria in the new Behavioral Health building also includes a great outside sitting area. I love their food. Their main menu food is great and like home made. They have a grill with burgers and fries and a daily special by chef Anthony, his food is amazing.“
